In a futuristic 90s Detroit, the experimental "half man, half robot, all cop" Robocop has been incredibly effective. Desperate to recapture the success of Robocop, the OCP decide to create Robocop 2. But they fuck it up and it sucks. This is genuinely the plot of the movie.

It's Napoleon Solo's second outing, and it's fuckin wierd. I think this is maybe our funniest episode since Cars 2, genuinely. There's just such a rich tapestry of insane things this movie puts in front of you.

Napoleon Solo is kidnapped and replaced with an evil agent that has had plastic surgery to look exactly like him, just in time to be sent away on a critical mission to deliver the new access codes... for the Vault. And it falls to UNCLE Agent Ilya to realise that this man is not enough of a misogynist to be the real Solo

We finally did it, we reached the apex of the Tom Clancy movies.

In a world without wives.... one man has a dream: To avenge his fridged pregnant wife by killing approximately 50 full human beings. But Don't worry- all of them are foreign. It's impossible that any of them could have wives or anything.

I don't know how to sum this one up other than by saying that in the scene that could most be called "the one where Michael B Jordan says what the movies themes are" the film unironically goes like 'i didnt carry an M4 in aleppo just to see them carried in the streets of the United States'. Foreign nations are a sandbox in a state of perpetual violence, but the US is sacred.

We're just not quite ready to let Harrison Ford go yet, so we move seamlessly from Clear and Present Danger to Air Force One, a roughly contemporaneous movie that could fit very neatly into the Jack Ryan universe, as canonically Jack does become President of the United States, in part for his actions during Clear and Present Danger. I hate knowing so much about these fuckin films.

A barely-concealed reaction to the Yugoslavian War, and in particular the Bosnian Genocide, this movie shows the president making a speech in which he promises the US will involve itself at the first sign of humanitarian crisis, rather than waiting for international consensus. This prompts a group of communist revanchists (Led by Gary Oldman) to invade and take control of Air Force One, the president's private plane.

Continuing the trend that Abi started by bringing us Totally Spies last time, we're taking a deep dive in to Alice's favourite childhood film, a movie that really meant a lot to her growing up. And even though it's kind of shit, (It's a 1970s 'comedy' with no discernable jokes, A fun premise that completely falls flat after a catestrophic mishandling, and to cap it all off, a trainwreck of a production process) we stuck with it because, having watched it, we now feel closer to our dear friend Alice.

It's time to keep up the heat on Jack Ryan, and this time Mr Constitution himself is off to Colombia to racistly get himself involved in a bunch of drug smuggling events. Hard to express the lack of respect this movie has to the nation of Colombia, and indeed to the viewer. 

Jack Ryan is made Acting Deputy Director of the CIA when his mentor James Earl Jones, here playing the character of America, falls ill. Jack immediately is a naive dipshit and gets himself Embroiled. To discuss events past this point would be a disservice to letting us reveal them during the episode.

This time, retired CIA analyst Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) faces off against a rogue element of the IRA, after getting himself embroiled in an assassination attempt against a royal when on holiday in London. Irish Sean Bean swears revenge against him for killing his little brother, and hunts him down across America.

the American release for this nearly had the tagline 'there has never been a terrorist attack on American soil', which they got rid of because it seemed like too much of a challenge.

Three Days of the Condor is a movie that asks and answers all of these questions, and we have brought on our producer and true 4th mic, Nate Bethea, to discuss it.

I think it provides a really interesting counterexample to the Bourne Identity. This is on Netflix and I genuinely recommend you watch it for a taste of shitty 1970s New York and Robert Redford dressing like a fucking don in every scene.
