Adam opens the show with a rant about sunflower seed (peanut) butter. He also talks about the reviews that have come in after The Car Show premiered, and Alison even reads one out loud. She then goes into the crowd for Q and Ace, where Adam talks about TV shows he wishes he could appear in, touring California, and Spam vs. Poi.

Bryan Cranston comes on stage next, and talks to the guys about his daughter starting up at USC. Adam and Bryan also do a new take on 'Good Cop, Bad Cop,' and talk about growing up poor in the valley. Bryan recalls going to thrift stores and swap meets with his mom, and both guys agree that clutter now drives them crazy because of how they were raised. The guys also talk about improvements that need to be made to label makers.

Moving into the news, the Emmy nominations have been announced, and the guys talk about how Breaking Bad is not eligible for the awards. The guys also talk about Ann Coulter being banned on Piers Morgan's show, and the time Adam hung up on her.

In the last part of the show, the guys joke around about little kids in strip clubs, and the time Adam had to help his mother-in-law take her medicine. Alison wraps the news with a story about a guy named Casey Anthony who's now being harassed, and the show closes with the guys talking about messed up lullabies.

In the last part of the show, Alison returns to the news with a story about an argument on an airplane over smoking an electronic cigarette. Adam wraps the show ranting about how society is creating chicken s*** rules that don't help anyone.

Adam sits down one-on-one to talk with Ken Burns about his latest documentary, 'Baseball: The Tenth Inning.' It's a continuation of his previous Baseball documentary, and covers everything from 1992 to yesterday. Adam compliments Ken on several of his previous documentaries, and Ken talks about editing everything up until the last second. They also talk a bit about Mark Twain, and other documentaries they've enjoyed over the years.

After some discussion about the debilitating effects of steroids, Adam talks about his own career playing baseball in high school. This leads him into a story about filling in for Tommy Lasorda to be the Grand Marshall of Mardi Gras, and also an in depth comparison of baseball to softball.

Adam finds out more about a 'normal day' for Ken Burns, which seems to revolve around either being on the road promoting, or locked in an edit bay 'trying to make something better out of the footage.' Ken discusses how unique it is to have a series on PBS where you can have over two hours of uninterrupted content, and talks about how they raise money and research their topics. They also talk about some of the more complex themes that Ken has had to discuss over the years, and the 'vow of poverty' he took to become a documentarian.

One of Ken's upcoming projects is about prohibition, but Ken says it's really about right wing single issue campaigns that grow out of control. They talk about smear campaigns, and all the unintended consequences of prohibition; including organized crime, female alcoholism, and all sort of other social transformations. Ken also offers a reason for the world's obsession with alcohol, and relates everything to escapism. Lastly, the guys discuss the sensitive subject of race issues here in America, and Adam is very impressed with Ken's opinions and wealth of knowledge.

The next news story is Forbes' list of the 27 Highest Grossing Musical Acts of the last year. The guys discuss acts like U2, Bon Jovi, and Elton John, and Adam tries to make the distinction between bad songs and effed out songs. The final news story involves somebody peeing in Portland's water source, which gets Adam talking about all the various places he's enjoyed peeing since he learned that urine is sterile.

Adam begins the show discussing how he was woken up in the middle of the night by his carbon monoxide alarm going off. He talks about the famous tennis player who died from carbon monoxide poisoning, and wonders why women are more concerned about filtered water, and less about the more serious dangers. Kelly talks about 'conning her way' into the business, but mostly just focusing on blogging since 1997. The guys also talk about conversations that their parents should have had with them, but never did.

Moving into the day's news, the top story is Bam Margera's response to Roger Ebert's insensitive tweet about the passing of Jackass member Ryan Dunn. Adam says that Ebert is entitled to his opinion, but that he probably should have given everyone a week or so to mourn. Kelly agrees, saying that people tweet offensive stuff all the time, and doesn't see why this is news. Also in the news is the announcement of disturbing new cigarette labels, and the announcement of a Mormon running for President.

Adam speaks about how he doesn't care who runs for President, as long as they're level headed and have a moral compass that points straight. He points out that it doesn't really matter that we now have a black President, things haven't really changed all that much. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about Michael Bay finally breaking his silence as to why Megan Fox was replaced in the latest Transformers movie, and the group discusses whether or not Megan still has a career ahead of her.

In the second half of the show, Adam talks about a variety of frustrating interactions he had with famous women, that Dr. Drew was also a witness to. First, he talks about several maddening conversations with Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie, and then he talks about an argument he had with Kelly Osbourne over WWII. Lastly, he talks about a panelist he recently talked to on Dr. Drew's show, who was shocked Adam couldn't remember that they were intimate together.

The guys then talk about the death of former Celebrity Rehab patient Jeff Conway. Dr. Drew expresses his sadness, as Jeff appeared to be making some progress in the last couple of weeks. Adam asks where Dr. Drew thinks that drug companies fall when it comes to substance abuse, and if they actually benefit from selling massive amounts of pills to people who can't control themselves. The show then comes full circle as the guys discuss how the government needs to get out of the way, and let the trained professionals do their jobs.

Today's guest is James Tupper, who stars alongside Jim Carrey in the new film Mr. Popper's Penguins. Adam also recalls that James was at his house back when he was renovating it, and the guys talk dirty about carpentry. James also talks about his experience working with Jim Carrey, which leads to a longer conversation about Carrey's career accomplishments.

The conversation then steers back to carpentry, and Adam is reminded of an experience he had when a full construction crew was posing for a picture when one of them farted. James also has room service delivered, and Adam attempts to talk to the delivery guy as James writes in a tip.

As James prepares to enjoy his chicken wings, Adam jumps back to James' career in the military, and how things took off for him musically after that. The show wraps with James talking about his time protecting the Queen, and how he eventually signed with an American record label.

Larry Miller is also in studio, and shares his hatred for lame bumper stickers. Both guys agree the cops should stop writing us chicken shit tickets so we can focus on their other apparently important causes like senior abuse and human trafficking.

Moving into the news, Alison talks about Pippa Middleton's $5 million offer to appear in a porno. Larry can't help but drool over Kim Kardashian instead. They also discuss the new time change in Samoa, and a woman who woke up from oral surgery with an Irish accent. Before Larry heads out, Adam rants about people who complain about rising stamp prices, and the group plays a round of Made Up Movie.

Comedian Mike Schmidt comes in studio next, and Adam explains that he thought he was interviewing the baseball player. The guys then discuss the fact that Mike used to weigh 500 pounds, and what the process was like getting gastric bypass surgery. Mike speaks openly about 'eating like a crazy person,' and some of the humiliating experiences he's had as he struggles with his weight. The show wraps with Mike helping to settle a very important argument about what to put on your Philly Cheesesteak and Adam pitches names for a new Big and Tall store.
