Meet Dr. Heath Treharne chair of the business department at Sherman College and an influential figure in chiropractic education. Heath began his journey at Palmer college, where after graduating in 2005, he and his wife successfully launched two upper cervical chiropractic offices in the Quad Cities. His passion for bridging education with practical application led him to Sherman College, where he now spearheads a new business curriculum designed to equip students with the essential skills of communication, professionalism, and strategic planning. This curriculum aims to produce a solid foundation for success as they transition into the chiropractic profession. Outside the classroom, Heath is devoted husband of 27 years and a proud father of four. He is committed to fostering success, both for his students and his family, advocating for excellence in every aspect of life.

As a practicing chiropractor for well over 30 years, Robert Frieman built a large family wellness practice from scratch. Through the years, he trained many young associate doctors and taught them how to be more successful, not just in practice but in life as well. Since the mid 1990’s, Robert has spoken and taught at chiropractic schools across the chiropractic profession’s philosophical spectrum and been an invited main stage speaker at seminars large and small. While serving the profession as a member and president of a state licensing board and state association, he also continues to coach a small group of individual chiropractors, helping them improve their practices and their lives. I was a member of the 1998 inaugural graduating class of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Besides my chiropractic degree, I also hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in physiology and a PhD in Health Science from the University of Auckland. My PhD research examined the impact of chiropractic care on sensorimotor function and falls risk in older adults.

With over 50 published research articles in peer-reviewed journals, I have a strong focus on studying the effects of chiropractic care on nervous system function and the reliability and validity of vertebral subluxation indicators. My research has earned recognition with numerous international awards and generated close to $3 million in external research funding for the College. I have 10 years of private practice experience as a chiropractor and have been teaching at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic since 2000. After being a key member of the College's research team, I was appointed as the College's President in 2021. I was honoured with the titles of 'Chiropractor of the Year' by the New Zealand College of Chiropractic Alumni Association in 2012 and by the New Zealand Chiropractors' Association in 2014, and received the Staff Member of the Year award from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2019.

Dr. Ian Hoffman is a Chiropractor, nonprofit founder, and CEO of the Student Loan Eraser. Ian was honored as Alumni of the Year by Life Chiropractic College West in 2013 for inspiring several friends into the profession and making invaluable contributions to the Chiropractic community.

It was also in 2013 that a pregnant mom came in to Ian's office as a new patient and brought her 4 year old daughter Caroline to the appointment. This little girl had stage 4 cancer.

Dr. Lance Zuidema has been providing chiropractic care with exceptional service in the Grandville/Jenison area for over 8 years. He is a graduate of Jenison High School and also received a bachelor of science in exercise science and kinesiology from Michigan State University. Dr. Zuidema then graduated with his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he was selected to the Sports Rehabilitation program. He completed his chiropractic residency in Jenison. Adrian Wenban is presently the principal of the Barcelona College of Chiropractic. He holds a B.Sc. (Anatomy), a B.App.Sc. (Chiropractic), a M.Med.Sc. (Clinical Epidemiology) and a P.Gr.Cert. (Medical Education). In practice for more than 20 years, he has worked in 5 different countries and was the president of the Fundación Privada Quiropráctic from 2007 to 2009. Dr. Crowley received her BS, Magna Cum Laude, from The University at Buffalo. She then continued to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic from the prestigious Life University, graduating Cum Laude.

After researching the many different chiropractic techniques, Dr. Crowley found the Atlas Orthogonal Program. This unique program is the most advanced iteration of upper cervical chiropractic that combines 3-D analysis and instrument adjusting.Through the Atlas Orthogonal program, Dr. Crowley was able to relieve herself of chronic sinus infection, brain fog, and many other persistent chronic conditions that had plagued her since a motor vehicle accident as a child.It is now her passion to help other people who feel they have exhausted every other medical avenue and have no hope; to find new hope and healing through the power of the atlas orthogonal program.

My name is Max and I am a SOT chiropractor, a ‘22 “AECC” (redacted) grad, and own my own practice with my friend from college.

Chiropractic is not my life, it is my calling. And through trial, the blessing of chiropractic has already given me a life with more reward and opportunity than I had ever anticipated.

Through college my peers and I were ostracised by our colleagues, and threatened, gaslit, and intimidated by staff.

We explored what we knew to be chiropractic via our below the surface philosophy society. We read and self-taught from 33 hand picked books. We contacted and sought tutoring from working chiropractors. And we practiced what we knew to be truth.

I owe the risk we ran, the support of my friends and those chiropractors who took us under their wing, and SOT to where I am today - practicing principled chiropractic out of my own clinic with my best friend. I cannot wait for the future, every day is a blessing.

My name is Dr Thomas Graham DC. I was born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire where my hobbies included music, sports, outdoors, Boy Scouts, and more.

Throughout my college career, I worked commercial construction and other odd jobs as I found and honed my newly found passion for health and the human body. My major combined health sciences, personal training, and biochemistry to create a sports-based PRE MED degree. Shortly after I graduated with my bachelor's, I was unsure about my future in healthcare and soon realized that Drugs and Surgery should be a last resort (not the first option) when trying to live a healthy life or HEAL! With my love of sports, the human body, and a passion for helping people, Chiropractic became my life's mission.

In 2014, I started Chiropractic College at LIFE University in Marietta Georgia. Since then, I have embarked on a vitalistic journey to learn the true dynamics of a better life and healthier living. Through school, I developed a passion for learning about the brain, nervous system, and positive psychology, which perfectly complemented my love of health, personal development, and quantum physics (or the new science). My passion led me to many clubs, and I studied under some of the best doctors internationally. I also donated my money and time to learning by traveling on 4 different mission trips and communicating with students from around the world about the importance of the true chiropractic message.

In September of 2017, I Graduated from LIFE University, Cum Laude, with my Doctor of Chiropractic. Since then I have continued to get my masters in positive psychology because I’ve realized how truly important our mindset is in this journey of life and healing. The ONLY thing more important than chiropractic in health is your mindset to begin with, and my devotion is now in leading others towards living healthier in all aspects of life (Mind, Body, and Spirit)! My life experiences and chiropractic have enabled me to help others in a way I never previously conceived possible, so It is MY PLEASURE to serve and inspire you to reach the next evolution of your LIFE.

Dr. Alex was born under the parents of Dr. Dale and Carol Smith. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA February of 2024. During his time at Palmer, he played for the rugby team and eventually transitioned into the assistant coaching role for the men’s team. Being from Memphis, he knew he wanted to come back south to Tennessee and now lives in Spring Hill, just south of Nashville. Dr. Alex precepted at Premier Chiropractic during his last trimester and has since transitioned into an associate position and marketing role. He has been happily married to his beautiful wife for almost 10 years and they have 3 wonderful children Ainsley, Baylor, and Charlotte.

Dr. Alex firmly believes in principled chiropractic care and that the philosophy is the main pilar that sets us apart. He recalls attending homecoming events and hearing the likes of Dr. Fred Schofield, Dr. Bill Bazin, Dr. Nick Psaltis, and other Palmer Alumni preach what was so vastly different. Author of The Manual for the Chiropractic Entrepreneur, Dr. Lisa Goodman founded multidisciplinary clinic, Washington Park Chiropractic in 2006 in Denver, Colorado. Dr Glenn is a Chiropractor with a prior degree in physical Rehabilitation. Author and public speaker, his practice is on the Costa del Sol in Marbella, Spain. I'm a graduate of the Advanced Clinical Training program of Nutrition Response Testing®. I am also a Master Clinician in the technique. Since 2012, I have been helping families in middle Georgia improve their health through whole foods and nutrition. I have helped my community improve hormone function, handle stress and fatigue, have healthy fertility, lose weight, and improve gut health. I completed my initial nutrition certification (CNC) and did my graduate studies in Special Education at George Washington University. I continued further graduate education in Applied Clinical Nutrition from Northeast College of Health Sciences in New York. Not only am I an Advanced Nutrition Response Testing® Practitioner, but I was a successful Special Educator for 10 years who focused on intervention and nutrition from a holistic approach for kids with Autism and other special needs.

When I'm not at Svast Nutrition, you might find me at a local coffee shop, yoga studio, or singing at an event. I love to spend time with my husband, Saurabh, and our kids, Karthik and Sanaa. As a mother and wife, I know how important it is to be healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually. I often say “If the body is fueled with good nutrition, it has the ability to heal and function." I believe that you will be better equipped to handle daily stress, stay healthy, look great, and enjoy life if you have proper nutrition.

Dr. David Kolowski is a 2010 graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While there, he served as class president, student council representative, student council treasurer, and student council ex-officio. While at Palmer, he is most proud of passing Part I National Boards moments after he and his wife, Dr. Lauren Kolowski, had spent the previous 30 hours delivering their first child.

Prior to Palmer, Dr. Kolowski was a 310 pound offensive lineman for the University of Nebraska Cornhusker football team where he was part of a Big 12 Conference Championship team and also played for a National Championship. Dr. Kolowski served on the team's Unity Council and also earned academic and civic service awards.

Dr. Kolowski practiced for 14 years in Loveland, Colorado alongside his wife at Inside Health (www.insidehealth.com). He is currently taking a sabbatical to focus on his family and other projects, as well as helping Dr. Lauren Kolowski with her virtual practice. Dr. Kolowski loves to write and has three books to his credit: Diary of a Husker (about his football days), The Night Before Wellness (a chiropractic poem booklet), and Green Cash and Scam (a self-published rebuke of Bill Gates and the COVID plandemic). Dr. Staten C Medsker, Jr., has been a Chiropractic Physician for 30 years. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in San Francisco with his Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) degree. Despite her small frame, Dr. Karin became known for her chiropractic skills. Her favorite moments were when big farm boys or construction workers would come in, take a look at her and doubt she could adjust them like their old large chiropractor could, and then see their eyes go big as they exclaim that was the best adjustment they ever had.

With that said, she knew to be mindful of protecting her own body. She had several mentors, big and small, men and women alike, whose bodies were harmed by the physical demands of being a chiropractor.

This was made even more evident when she tried to get disability insurance and saw how expensive it was for even minimal coverage.

So she picked up tricks to keep her own body well despite adjusting people for over 24 years.

She still practices today in her chiropractic clinic with four associates in downtown Bloomington, Indiana.

Tina Steele has her Master’s degree in higher education and is married to Dr. Clint Steele. Their journey together began 13 years ago when they met while Clint was “retired” from chiropractic. At that time she wouldn’t let him care for her health as she had some bad experiences with Chiropractic.

After Clint spent some considerable time educating her about the TRUTH of brain care, her mindset about it began to shift and she started getting care. It transformed her life in a number of ways. After three back surgeries and chronic pain for years, she was no longer suffering as a result of regular brain based care. Not just that but a number of other health issues resolved! She had no idea brain based care could help with so many health issues. Clint was also caring for family members who were seeing improvement in anxiety, IBS, depression and more!

She became so passionate about brain based care and sharing this TRUTH with others that she left her career in higher education when Clint got back into practice to help him build it. Together, they developed a system to educate their following with the truth of brain based care and Clint went from 0-500 patient visits a week in just 6 months! Rather than just staying for 10-12 visits, patients were signing on for 6-12 month care plans then moving into protective care after because they understood how important regular brain based care was to their health!

Together, they Co-Founded Brain Based Health Solutions to help share the TRUTH of brain based care with the masses by creating programs to help other practitioners change the focus from pain (symptoms) to brain and create lifetime wellness brain based practices. They are passionate about helping docs save more lives!

Tina and Dr. Clint Steele reside in Gorham Maine and together, have 6 children. They love spending their time with family, traveling and boating on the lake!
