Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

All news concerning the health of Patrick Mahomes is good news.  Great news, actually.  So why is it so hard to find media outlets reporting it that way?  He did everything in practice the first day they hit the field after Sunday's game. Repeat: All Mahomes news is great at this point, stop worrying.  In Buffalo, grocery stores are pulling Kansas City BBQ sauce from the shelves.  The social media reaction by Kansas Citians is priceless.  And we got our violence around inauguration.  Of course, you didn't hear about it because it wasn't white conservatives burning, smashing, breaking and injuring cops.  

At KKHI,  we won't treat Joe Biden like the liberal media treated Donald Trump the past four years.  He's our president and that alone affords respect and our hopes that things go well.  But nobody went,  and nobody watched this inauguration that was filled with dishonest speeches and fake unity.  I'll recap this for you like nobody else.  President Clinton fell asleep, Bernie looked cold and tired, Kamala Harris' name got mispronounced and Biden basically called Trump voters racists.  A poet referred to America as coming out of a terrifying hour, a catastrophe and the apocalypse.  Here's to unity!

There is so much contradiction in reporting around the country about Patrick Mahomes injury, we provide a simple guide to what's really going on.  Spoiler:  Don't sweat it, he's going to play.  We spent a few minutes with Pete Mundo talking Chiefs/Bills on KCMO, we'll play some of that.  And would somebody please hire Eric Bieniemy and make this story go away?  Please.

While I don't much care about the inauguration this week, I am a disturbed the Dems are using troops as political propaganda.  Can they get any lower than this?  Patrick Mahomes, according to 610 Sports Radio, didn't have a concussion at all.  Why did the rest of the media ignore this story Monday?  And Mahomes now has a public problem with his mom as Randi Mahomes makes national headlines for a tweet about "trash football" being played by the Browns.  She's wrong and it makes her son look bad.  KU gets popped pretty good by Baylor and it looks like KU is out of the Big 12 race.  But three other blue bloods are out of the top 25 for the first time in almost 60 years.  You can thank the FBI and NCAA investigations for leveling the playing field.

Afternoon drive host Carrington Harrison of 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City reports that Patrick Mahomes didn't suffer a concussion Sunday, his wobble was the result of a nerve in his neck being pinched on the tackle.  We discuss if this is good or bad.  And I was on KCMO 710 with Chris Stigall talking about Aaron Rodgers and of course, the Chiefs.

It's not supposed to be easy... but it was looking that way Sunday in the AFC Divisional Playoff game at Arrowhead.  Then Patrick Mahomes got knocked out of the game and all of the sudden, Henne Thing Is Possible.  What a game.  I'll break it down and then Stan Weber will join me with next level analysis and opinion.

It's the  weekend edition of KKHI and Spencer is here completely fired up for the Chiefs and Browns.  He's also impressed with what the Royals have done this off season.

I've made a decision to part with Facebook boosting since they seem bent on cancelling millions of Americans.  Chuck Schumer gets lit up on the street in NY, we have the audio.  KU loses at OSU but they have bigger issues than a couple losses.  We ask the big question if this is the new normal in college hoops without paying players.  The Chiefs have some amazing scoring numbers in the post season that has me fired up for Sunday!  And a professor at Illinois guaranteed college football players would die of Covid this year.  How does he still have a job?

Alabama and Nick Saban are officially the greatest of all time and I'll share the story of Saban "lucking" into becoming a coach.  Stan Weber talks about the Eagles firing Doug Pederson and whether their plan is to hire Chiefs passing game coordinator Mike Kafka.  Kareem Hunt says Sunday is personal and Mayor Q has been sneaking into Chiefs games during Covid while restricting the rest of us.

For whatever reason, Cleveland has been the team I didn't want the Chiefs to face.  They can run it, Kareem Hunt is their second best back.  The other teams, the Chiefs have handled.  Maybe it's just the unknown, but KC will have to play it's best game in weeks to win.  Justin Thomas uses a gay slur on the golf course and the mic caught him.  How come this slur has been censored and I can't find it anywhere, but I can watch a video of Ashli Babbit being shot at killed at the Capitol?  And Trump and Parler and all kinds of things are locked down by big tech.  Censorship is the KEY element to Socialism.  Welcome to a new America with one party control telling us all how to live and think.

Nothing good came out of storming the Capitol Wednesday, it was a bad idea.  But it's easy to understand how it got to this point.  We explain why and, unfortunately, why it will get worse.  The reaction to this has been awful.

It was another ride on the "Midnight Pain to Georgia" that even the Pips wouldn't believe could happen again.  Fool me twice, the Dems are getting full control of the United States for at least two years, we discuss what happens next and what's really important.  KU's turnaround from Saturday to Tuesday was one of the most dramatic ever, we tackle the question if it was about KU or was it opponent driven?  Mizzou does a 180 in the middle of the game and Cuonzo Martin is left scratching his head.  And Nick Saban's daughter unloads on Ohio State... this is fun stuff.

This podcast is a safe place for things to be said that everyone is thinking, but the media won't let you say out loud.  So I'll do it.  Eric Bieniemy won't win as a head coach and I'll explain why he's not even the best candidate among Chiefs assistants.  If we really want to see what's wrong in the NFL, let's look at Denver where crappy GM John Elway gets a promotion to hire somebody to do his job for him.  This dude is everything wrong with pro sports.  And Missouri Senator Josh Hawley had his house in DC vandalized and attacked while he was gone and his wife and child were home.  This is so pathetic, imagine if Trump supporters did this to Pelosi.

It's playoff time in the NFL and the Chiefs get to sit back, rest and watch.  When they do take the field, this team has to be better than it's been the last 6 weeks.  KU's defense is AWOL against the Texas Longhorns and Bill Self is about to ramp up the pressure on his squad.  Mizzou's defense is outstanding in a big win over Arkansas and Jeremiah Tillman has a big day.  And the Republican Secretary of State in Georgia embarrasses himself releasing audio of the president.  Was he trying to swing the Senate seats to the Dems?  What a mess that state is on the eve of the runoffs.

The Chiefs got lucky.  The Atlanta Falcons did everything necessary to win except hang on to interceptions and make a clutch field goal.  KC didn't beat the Falcons, but they won the game and wrapped up the #1 seed in the AFC.  Instant Reaction... and Monday and Tuesday I will be hosting from 6-10 am on KCMO Talk Radio 710.

The Chiefs survived a brutal game with the Saints, a team with a dirty past.  Are they still dirty?  Stan Weber is here with his thoughts.  Charlie Woods is Tiger's mini-me, the 11 year old was quite the splash this weekend on the course.  Stan and I believe Ohio State should not be in the playoff but have a hard time making a great case for another team.  And the Tigers are head to Nashville to play Iowa in the Music City Bowl.

This was a tough one.  A terrific opponent whose strength goes up against the Chiefs' strength and a Hall of Fame quarterback back on the field.  This was not just another one of 16 regular season games.  It was hard, it was physical, and at times, the Saints were downright dirty.  But the closer closed and the Chiefs move on32-29.

Spence man has the weekend edition and he's less than thrilled with the College Football Playoff.

We've got a feel good story for you to about a young man that got a football scholarship for all the right reasons and it has nothing to do with playing the game.  Tom Cruise unloads on his crew of Mission: Impossible 7 for breaking Covid protocols and it's not a spoiled actor story.  No, seems Cruise has a whole lot of "conservative" in him.  That won't play well in Hollywood.  Joe Biden is asked about his son Hunter.  By a comedian, of course.  His response is the funniest thing I've heard since the election.  And there's one key matchup in the Chiefs/Saints game, we break it down.

The Chiefs are so good they're a road fave against a 10-3 team and chasing history with just a few more wins in a row.  Kirk Herbstreit is the latest to pile on the College Football Playoff.  We know it has to expand, just do it.  Tiger Woods is playing in a pro tournament this week with his 11 year old son as his partner.  A high school in Arizona is proud of their name, "Redskins" and they aren't changing it.  It's a Navajo Tribe school.  And Lee Sterling from Paramount sports is here with his picks.

The Kansas City Chiefs will change their name at some point, it's inevitable as even the Cleveland Indians are doing it.  Of course the Indians think it's ok to be offensive for another year as they don't want to be called just Cleveland Baseball.  Such hypocrites. And the vaccine rolls out nationwide, Sarah Kiehl is the first Kansas Citian to get it.  If you get it, it's your choice.  But will the government actually accept our rights or force us to get this thing?

It's been a pretty spectacular 8 days for the Kansas City Chiefs as they now control the #1 playoff seed in the AFC.  Not always easy, but the Chiefs are getting it done.  Stan Weber joins us to talk about what the Chiefs need to do to fend off all the rest.  Alex Smith has led Washington to 4 straight wins and first place in their division, but he left Sunday's game with pain in his repaired leg.  We're all praying for the best.  And did you see that wild celebration in the Mizzou locker room after they beat #6 Illinois 81-78.  Cuonzo Martin's guys are experienced.... and for real!

Another display of spectacular and maddening by the team that's been described as a light swich, the Kansas City Chiefs.  The Chiefs essentially turned over five times, so they lose, right?  Nope.  Oh wait, the score on offense, defense and special team so they win easily, right?  Nope.  Another nail biter, 33-27 over the Dolphins and the Chiefs win the division for the 5th year in a row.

A democrat has introduced a bill that will protect women from biological males competing in their sports, this should be a slam dunk in Congress if some dems are actually supporting it.  NBC Sports Tony Dungy has made the most thought provoking political and social comments in sports this year.  So why haven't you heard about it?  Oh, he's a conservative Christian, got it.  And the Dolphins may have the most aggressive defense in the league and they talking big about attacking KC's offense.  I break down the key matchup in what could be tough game Sunday.

There's never been a pro athlete that had more impact on is franchise that Sporting Kanas City's Matt Besler.  In his first year, the local kid had to cut in line at a port-o-potty to pee at halftime.  Now look where the club is.  They can never repay Besler for his role in SKC earning respect.  Jamelle Hill is the most racist person in media and she's proud of it.  You won't believe what she asked a white athlete. And Missouri and Kansas have joined the suit the State of Texas is hoping to argue in front of the Supreme Court.

Those crazy big market Kansas City Royals have officially outspent every other team in baseball so far this off season as they beef up the middle of the order with first baseman Carlos Santana.  How and why are they doing this?  We'll explore.  K-State hoops coach Bruce Weber is in a world of trouble after losing to Fort Hays State by double digits.  He's apologizing, but it may not be enough.  KU Hoops, MU top 25 and Chiefs set division record.  And the Texas lawsuit with SCOTUS moves forward for now.

There is nothing but good news on this episode.  I'm pretty excited about a State of Texas filed with the Supreme Court late Monday night that doesn't require proving one vote was fraudulent.  Texas is really mad that four other states violated the Constitution and rendered Texas votes meaningless.  If you don't love Alex Smith, you don't love sports. I know him well after sitting with him one on one weekly for five years.  You want to hear this.  And the Steelers sure do suck for an 11-1 team.  Can't run, QB can't move.  I'm asking... how did they start 11-1?

On this episode, we update you on the evidence of election fraud as President Trump talks about a big week.  Part of the plan is to get Ted Cruz in front of the Supreme Court on behalf of Pennsylvania, if they can make it happen, things will get interesting.  And one tv show had its season debut last Friday and it's against defunding police and takes the side of a white female cop in an arrest dispute with a black woman.  What?  You have to watch it.

It's all sports to start the week.  The Chiefs go to 11-1 despite a rash of mistakes, Stan Weber analyzes where this team is and what still needs to be fixed.  We also discuss the rise of the Cleveland Browns after a beat down of Tennessee Sunday.  Mizzou goes from broken heart to heartbreakers in a thriller over the Hogs.  And is KU down this year or is this just a slow start?  My thoughts on the Hawks as well as Mizzou's first 3-0 hoops start in 7 years.

Ok, so the best offense in the league is also now the worst in the red zone?  Doesn't make any sense but as the Chiefs qualify for the post season by beating Denver 22-16, they set the NFL mark for red zone futility this year with SEVEN consecutive red zone drives without a td.  Oh ya, there were two more long Tyreek Hill TD's that never made it onto the board either.  Plenty to discuss.... here's the instant reaction.

Is the video of four election workers sending everyone home and pulling out four suitcases of ballots to count them until 1:00 on election night a game changer?  I'll tell you why this video matters.  Joe Biden tells CNN that if he disagrees with Kamala Harris he will, "develop some disease and say I have to resign."  What?  It's not a joke... he said it.  And the Chiefs make the playoffs with a win Sunday.  Who knew?  It used to be a big deal and now it's just expected.   SKC season ends in 3-0 playoff loss to Minnesota.
