As Covid hysteria gets even crazier, President Trump makes his case that the election was a fraud. It won't overturn anything, but in typical Trump fashion, what he says makes perfect uncommon sense.  Cuonzo Martin has something good cooking in Columbia, the Tigers are an early season surprise.  And it's fun that Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are coming up with gadget plays.... but how they use them has me concerned.

While everyone is talking about Patrick Mahomes and the MVP, I've got a few things I think are far more important for the Chiefs.  After the first 12 minutes against Kentucky, KU was just flat out the tougher team.  Jalen Wilson is a budding star as KU wins 65-62.  And the owner of a local hockey themed sports bar is filing suit against KCMO to undo the 10:00pm curfew.  Yes, Mayor Q thinks Covid is more dangerous after 10:00pm.  Absurd.

Hysteria is the word of the week.  Dr. Fauci now says it was a mistake to close schools.... this is the same genius that told us 10 million would die from AIDS, don't wear then wear masks and 2 million will die from Covid.  He's gotta go.  Some ancestors of indigenous people want to take change the mascot name at my high school.  This totally feels like liberals looking for a grievance and a chance to control and cancel.  And the 49ers and Ohio State Buckeyes have issues with Covid.  I'll explain.

So many story lines and so much history.  The spectacular play of Mahomes and Hill is at the top of our list but there's so much to talk about with Stan Weber.  Aaron Rodgers tosses 4 TD's, are the Packers better in the scoring zone than KC?  The NFL embarrasses itself when the Broncos play a game without a QB.  Minnesota WR Adam Thielen's celebration in his living room goes viral.  Sarah Fuller is the first woman to play in a Power 5 football game, KSU loses another heartbreaker.  And KU Hoops starts 1-1.  It's ALL here!

It was as spectacular as a 45 minute fireworks display... and then it wasn't.  The Chiefs quickly knew they are way better than Tampa behind some outrageous Patrick Mahomes to Tyreek Hill bombs.  But it looked like they thought they had it won and just got goofy and sloppy.  27-24 KC in a game that was never that close.

Robert Streb dominated the field in Sea Island, Georgia for three days and had a three shot lead entering the final round.  He played well on Sunday, but everyone else was going low.  Really low.  His lead was gone, he had three holes to go.  On the line?  An exemption through 2023, over $1million and entries into the Tourney of Champions, the Players, the PGA and of course, the Masters.  You can imagine the pressure. What happened next was remarkable and Robert Streb is here to talk about how he pulled it together and won.

This hodgepodge episode is so full of topics, we call it a Podgecast.  A new member of Congress is a 33 year old woman that owns a bar in western Colorado and she's going to wear a Glock on her hip in the House.  Sportscaster Shannon Sharpe is trying too hard to find racism, we'll give him a pass this time. A brewery in Detroit is sideways with Barry Sanders, a funny brawl breaks out in a 12 hour line for hamburgers and if you've ever pondered "Ginger or Maryann?"... well, we answer that question once and for all.

We're thankful for so much this week and we start with sage words from George Washington.  And I don't think he'd mind if he knew we love football and maybe even wager on the games.  Thanksgiving favorites are on a roll... but it's a basketball underdog I have my sights set on.  Lee Sterling of Paramountsports.com has all the lines and the story of a friend in the hospital with Covid, that didn't want to be released.  It's the greatest gambler superstition story ever.

KU and Gonzaga are Covid clear and ready to launch the CBB season Thanksgiving Day. I can't wait.  But the media want it al shut down and some coaches are already saying the tourney should be cancelled.... 5 months from now.  Haven't we heard this before?  Tom Brady is a statue in the pocket that doesn't want to get hit.  If Frank Clark and Chris Jones bring any heat Sunday, the Chiefs will turn this into a rout.  And there's a new interim host for the game show Jeopardy... I'll tell you who it is and who else wants the job permanently. 

We take a deep dive into what it will take for the Chiefs to get the one seed in the AFC.  A big part of it will be finding a pass rush from Frank Clark and Chris Jones, a pair that's very quiet these days.  The Missouri Tigers shake off Covid to move to third place in the SEC East and get Arkansas and former coach Barry Odom this week.  KSU has more problems than Covid, it isn't pretty.  And the KC Star gloats over a Covid "denier" that now has a tube in his throat.  How sick is that?

It was quite simply the most beautifully managed game I've ever seen.  The last 90 seconds of the first half and the last 90 seconds of the game showed how far Andy Reid has come managing his spectacular football team like an NBA coach getting 2 for 1 possessions.  In this huge game, it was all the difference in the world.

Every game we like this weekend has quite a sub story.  The Missouri Tigers face a team in turmoil as South Carolina just fired its head coach.  Kansas State has big time Covid issues this week and they have Farmageddon with Iowa State.  This game will have a huge impact on who's in the Big 12 title game.  And the Chiefs and Raiders have what we are calling the bulletin board game.  There's been so much gamesmanship and smack talk, who wouldn't look forward to this rematch.  Stan Weber breaks down all the matchups for us!

What more could you ask for in this episode of nothing but good news?  Gov Kelly is moving to the right on dealing with Covid in Kansas.  Missouri Senator Josh Hawley fights back and just destroys the KC Star and Chiefs All World tight end Travis Kelce slams the Raiders.  It doesn't get any better than this!

The Chiefs are taking a chance on cornerback Deandre Baker, a player with tremendous upside.  But they sure wouldn't be hiring this guy to work in the marketing department.  Baker's been described as lazy, reckless and a "handful" as a teammate. We'll discuss what the Chiefs will have to do to make this work.  One of my favorite restaurants in my hometown of Mission, KS is ground zero for challenging all the mask mandates.  The left wants Don Chilito's closed.  The JoCo DA says, "not so fast."  This is a great story if you like fighting back against authority.

From milking cows as a kid on a farm in Illinois to broadcasting in the Army from the Panama Canal, Jack Harry has done it all.  After 45 years as a television sports journalist in Kansas City, Jack has been inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.  Nobody deserves it more.  And while Jack doesn't like talking about sports or events much anymore, he is kind enough to share some great stories from his long career.  This one's a keeper!

Mayor Quentin Lucas, lucky for us, is smart enough to know what's best.  More Lockdowns!  I mean, they've proven so effective, lets double down.  Meanwhile, the KC Star Editorial Board writes something so conservative about Covid, I'm not sure they know what they did.  And the Raiders took a victory lap with their bus after they beat the Chiefs last month... giving KC some bulletin board material.  Nice.

Who's more upset with election outcomes?  Democrats, for sure.  They lost everything... everything except for their rock star, once in a lifetime, generational candidate Joe Biden.  How can this even be possible?  We'll dig in.  Also, Tiger Woods made a 10 on a par three Sunday at the Masters. What he did after that was even more remarkable.  And a bettor made $705k on football this weekend in Vegas, I'll tell you how he did it.

Dustin Johnson is the winner of the 2020 Masters and Jim Colbert is here to talk about it.  Colbert played in ten Masters Tournaments and found himself in some famous Sunday drama.  There wasn't any of that this year but as Jim explains, that doesn't mean it was easy for DJ.  Colbert also dishes on the Chiefs, KSU football and whether he thinks the election is legit.

On this episode, we explore why so many people in high places check principle at the door in order to serve themselves.  It's a apparently the new pandemic.  Top of the list would be Trump's lawyers, Biden's chief of staff and basketball coach Bill Self.

Also, a conversation with Josh Kingsley, a native Kansan that can throw Vegas style Chiefs watch parties.... in Milwaukee.  Chiefs fan groups are getting bigger and better all over the country.

With the Chiefs, Tigers, Wildcats and Jayhawks all off this weekend, we've got more than football to talk about with Stan Weber.  The Masters began after a rain delay and Tiger Woods shot -4 with no bogies.  This could be a wild weekend.  Also, College Basketball is oh, so close.  Let's cover it all!

Postponements all over college football have created a shortened slate of games.  Factor in no Chiefs, Tigers, Wildcats or Jayhawks and this is one of the oddest football weekends ever.  Lee Sterling is here to tell us there's still some opportunity to be had.

I'm blessed to have two Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Broadcasters as the biggest personal influences in my career.  Frank Boal, class of 2017.  And now Jack Harry in 2020.  Jack will be on KKHI next week after his induction, which is perfect.  It gives me and Frank plenty of time to tell stories about him!

Is Trump News the next big thing?  With all the fighting at Fox and the ownership turning to the left, I'll lay out a plan that could not only win but be a game changer for the American electorate.  I've got a new Patrick Mahomes stat that will blow your mind and Matt Cassell talks about how insane former Chiefs coach Todd Haley was on gameday.

Just two weeks after I said it's great the Chiefs are so balanced and don't really want or need Patrick Mahomes to be the league MVP... he vaults to the top of the list.  9 touchdowns in 8 days will do that for a guy.  We look at the remaining schedules for the Chiefs and Steelers and see who has the advantage for the 1 seed. And after finishing 11th a year ago, Sporting KC has home field advantage as the 1 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.

When you're the best team and everyone knows it, opponents are going to try everything.  And the Carolina Panthers did.  4th down conversions for touchdowns, fake punts that work and a couple onside kicks.  Yes, they tried it all and had a chance to win with just over a minute to play.  The Chiefs survive to go to 8-1.

Junior is here to preview some college football and share a story about a crazy golf hole.  And he still doesn't remember why I call him Junior.

The Chiefs may be getting Sammy Watkins back for the Panthers game Sunday, that should thrill the rest of the league.  ESPN is laying off 300 more employees as media companies scramble in changing times.  Lebron James is being ignored by the NBA and his own players union, this is a fun story.  My good friend Jack Harry is going into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, I've got some stories on him.  And I've got a rough outline of a better way to hold national elections as everyone can agree this is really embarrassing and sad.

It was a long night for everyone an it certainly doesn't look good for Donald Trump to win re-election.  Big tech and legacy media worked overtime all night to alter the way this looked.  Why didn't anyone call Florida or Texas two hours earlier?  Well, it would have put Trump in the lead.  The goal all along for the Democrats was to extend the election and go to work.  And unfortunately its working. 

It's finally here, election day 2020.  Despite record early turnout, millions and millions of people are voting today.  It's pretty simple for President Trump, he needs about 62% of election day votes to go his way in swing states.  I'll share my emotions and my pride for this day.  Also, some interesting history of elections in America.  From booze fueled, in person gatherings to elect George Washington to a state that still has in its constitution that "no idiot or insane person" can vote, you're going to like this.

You know him as Mundo in the morning on Talk Radio KCMO and he's got his finger on the pulse of all the big elections.  Pete Mundo is our go to guest with the last word before the votes are counted.

It's a good thing the Chiefs save our sports week all the time.  Patrick Mahomes was spectacular in the "piggy back" game as KC cruises past the Jets.  Good thing, too, because college football was a wreck on Saturday.  KSU, MU and KU lose by a combined 81 points.  Ouch.  And we remember one of the most colorful characters in all of sports, OU basketball legend Billy Tubbs.

Our conversation is with District 3 candidate Amanda Adkins whose got an incredible resume, wins on issues and crushed her opponent in debates.  So why is this an uphill battle?  KCMO officials convince Rockhurst to end football season because of ONE player with Covid.  Will this stupidity ever end?  And champions of shutdowns like Mayor Q and the KC Star have a mess on their hands.  They very badly want the Toronto Raptors of the NBA to call KC home this year BECAUSE of Covid. Wait, what?  I thought we are against all this stuff for the safety of our community?  These people have ZERO credibility anymore.
