Kevin Kietzman Has Issues

We had some fun on the radio Monday talking sports and politics with Chris Stigall.  He's really great at getting me fired up, maybe I brought it TOO strong?  You decide.

Vegas odds have Joe Biden's chance of winning at 65% despite a poor debate performance, family scandal and saying twice he's running against George Bush.  Is it possible for a family this dysfunctional, propping up grandpa, to win the White House?  Also, a local sheriff says going to a Chiefs game saved his life.  And one NFL player was so upset losing Sunday, he put his house for sale on Twitter after the game.

The Chiefs threw the kitchen sink at Denver scoring on offense, defense and special teams winning 43-16 on a snowy day.  It looked a lot like KSU's win over KU.  Also... the arrow is pointing way up for Mizzou.  All in all, pretty good weekend of football.......

Donald J. Trump is on a roll after his debate beatdown of Joe Biden.  A new peace deal is announced and two wild rallies are planned.  Patrick Mahomes was tweeting during the debate, but it's not what you may think.  I'll explain why it matters.  Between comments from 50 Cent, Ice Cube and Charlamagne the god and a fabulous debate performance, Trump' numbers with black voters doubled this week.  Amazing.  And in Overland Park, your local media can't believe how the city council is spending $350k of federal covid money.  Sorry, elections matter.

The final 30 minutes of the final presidential debate would have been called off by a ref if this had been a prize fight.  Joe Biden simply ran out of gas, hung his head and said, "Oh, god."  It seemed to me he wanted to be anywhere but on that stage getting body punched over and over.

Joe Biden tweets out from his bunker that "America WAS an idea".  Talk about dog whistles to the revolutionary left, can somebody that believes that really be President?  The Chiefs try to make it 6 straight at Denver... KC has just owned this division for quite some time.  And legendary coach Bobby Bowden just beat the virus at age 91.  You won't believe what inspired him to make it through and what he's doing with his life right now.

Chiefs tv ratings continue to astound even with Troy Aikman calling the game.  Aikman issues a silly apology for his open mic comments about a military flyover.  The Dolphins are in the playoff race but their change at quarterback has crushed a fan fave.  And Phil Mickelson may skip the tourney before the Masters next month because they're allowing fans.

Senator Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee is here to talk about the Hunter Biden emails, Roger Marshall's campaign for Senate in Kansas and ACB to Supreme Court.  The Senator is here because of you... I will explain.  Sign stealing, front yard altercations and threatening letters are the norm around KC as the unhinged left has taken to the streets to intimidate conservatives.  And a conservative, yes, conservative talk show host attacks the great Rush Limbaugh for talking about his terminal cancer on the air.  It's despicable. 

There are plenty of polls now showing President Trump gaining ground and others that show him ahead in the swing states.  One national pundit is now calling for a landslide Trump win based on the way early voting is going.  I'll have it for you.  Troy Aikman and Joe Buck get caught with an open mic bashing a military flyover and talking "Harris-Biden", you gotta  hear this.  And Patrick Mahomes is the best at yet another thing other QB's don't do.  And he used it to beat the Bills.  I'll explain.

The Chiefs clearly got chewed out and chewed on for 8 days and it showed in Buffalo with perhaps the toughest, grittiest game of Andy Reid's tenure in KC.  And it happened at just the right time.

It's debate week and Hidin' Joe Biden is getting his rest.  Trump's out there with big rallies all over the place, but does it really mean anything.  Trump allies in possession of Hunter Biden's computer content are promising new information that will force all media to cover the story, we'll see.  A couple big surprises in the NFL Sunday, I'll tell you what I think it means for the Chiefs.  And Joey Logano is the big winner at Kansas Speedway while a little known driver loses everything.  Literally.

Happy Hour football find the Chiefs in Buffalo.  A couple young gun QB's with big arms, but will the Bills try something different against a soft Chiefs run defense?  My thoughts on this one.  Plus Stan Weber joins us to talk about the unique skill sets of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.

Savannah Guthrie and George Stephanopoulos deal a death blow to Journalism in a week filled with great reporting by the NY Post and complete censorship by big tech and everyone else.  Something has to change in America, this is not democracy.  There's good polling news for President Trump with swing voters in swing states and Le'Veon Bell is a good signing by the Chiefs even if it doesn't work out.  I'll explain why... and how this could work.

It's a crazy news week in college football as Covid is having a major impact.  Postponements, changes and the game's most famous coach has the virus.  Stan Weber is here to make sense of one of the wildest weeks and one of the thinnest lineup of games.

Covid-19 is having a big impact in football this week.  The Chiefs game was pushed to Monday, MU's game was shut down and there's only one game in the Big 12.  Nick Saban has Covid and we've watched the betting line drop on Alabama/Georgia.  I'll ask Lee Sterling of Paramount Sports what he thinks is happening around the country with College and Pro Football.

Emails prove Joe Biden is corrupt and his family made millions off international conflicts of interest, will anyone really care?  This should be a huge story, but it's not huge yet.  Nick Saban has Covid-19 and if he still has it Saturday, he can't have any contact with his coaches during the Georgia game.  I think CFB is making a mistake.  And Zach Greinke makes controversial statements about fans and he doesn't care what you think.

Kansas Speedway President Pat Warren may be the most interesting person in KC sports.  He's studied business and law.  He's worked on political campaigns and managed a billion dollars of accounts for Sprint.  He loves racing and is excited to have fans back at the track this weekend. You will love this conversation with a man that is a truth teller and leader.

What would you do if a neighbor left an anonymous letter at your door to take down your Trump sign because they can't explain it to their kids?  You won't believe what happened.  The CDC reports 85% of Americans that got Covid... were mask wearers!  What?   And our conversation is with the great Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports.  Dodd is a true sports journalist and America's college football expert.

I didn't recognize the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.  They were tough physically and mentally, didn't lose turnover battle and had fewer penalties.  All signs that they could be a real team now.  Dak Prescott's injury was gruesome and everyone feels bad it happened.  But how would you feel if you were the person that called the designed running play for a quarterback that throws as well as Dak?  And Joe Biden's mistakes just keep piling up but to read or watch media, he's already won the election.

The Chiefs are lifeless in the second half against the Raiders and can't overcome a ton of mistakes and fall to 4-1.  Mizzou gets a program building win over LSU and K-State can really, really tackle.

VP Mike Pence just destroyed Kamala Harris in the VP debate.  How do we know?  One pundit on ABC defended Harris by saying, "her face said more than her words, which is typical of black women."  What?  Good thing it was a black woman that said it.  Who knew that was a thing?  And people are very, very concerned Patrick Mahomes will get Covid after his teammate got it and he hugged a Patriots player that has it.  Is this a real health concern or just a sports concern?  

As a conservative working in a liberal bubble, sports journalist Jason King was an outcast. Now he's with Outkick.com.  King has covered sports in the midwest and beyond for years but  almost quit the business because of the things he was asked to write about.  In this KKHI convo, King opens up about what he was asked to do, why he thought about leaving the biz and what it's like to be with Clay Travis at Outkick.com 

It's pretty easy to see Kamala Harris being president sooner rather than later if Joe Biden wins, so this VP debate should actually matter.  The Chiefs are sandwiched between the Patriots and Raiders on the schedule and both those teams have new cases of Covid.  And  NBA commish Adam Silver apparently thinks all social justice causes are solved because he's taking BLM off the court and returning uniforms to normal.  What a relief the NBA fixed everything!

We dive into the decision by the Park Hill South principal to have his volleyball players remove t-shirts that read, "Together we Rise".  Can I get a bet in Vegas that Trump doesn't lose by 14 points as a fraudulent poll shows?  And how does Patrick Mahomes stack up thus far to the other 4-0 quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen?

The Pats had a perfect game plan and mostly executed it.  The seemingly invincible Chiefs still won by 16 to become the first team in NFL history to start 4-0, four years in a row.  It's also 13 straight dating back to last year!

The NFL has done a nice job handling this as the Chiefs and Pats are now scheduled to play Monday at 6:05.  Can you believe how many people were actually calling for this game to be cancelled?  Why?  I share my thoughts.   Also, the line on this game has moved to KC-11, it's hard to believe how fast the Chiefs have taken over the Patriots as the beast in the AFC.  President Trump continues to recover from Covid-19 and it appears it's going well.  So the haters have turned on his doctor, a Navy Commander.  Pathetic.

Spencer Kietzman Has Issues on the weekend, including the Chiefs/Pats postponement.  Also, ESPN featured Alex Charlton last week on College Gameday.  He's the football coach that left his program to be a nurse in the Covid unit in NY at the worst time of the pandemic.  Just so happens, Alex Charlton and Spencer have been the best of friends since they were toddlers.

President Trump and first lady Melania have tested positive for Covid-19, continuing a year that just gets more unbelievable.  It's unlikely this becomes a big medical issue, so we discuss what it means going forward with a month to election day.

Some media on the left believe it could be a hoax or that if he has it and is just fine it will boost his campaign.  Their immediate reaction was not what we expected.  And a soccer game ends during an argument because of a slur.  This one will have your head shaking.

Grab a steak knife and fork and dig into some big bites of pigskin... it's the Football Feast with Stan Weber.  The NFL has a ratings problem and it's not all social justice causing it.  The Chiefs have a seriously big game with New England, if KC lets up and loses this thing, the Pats will be ahead for the one seed.  Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers have a tough game they can win Saturday at Tennessee.  We strap on the feed bag for this one and go around the SEC.  And is any Big 12 game predictable other than KU?  Stan has the answer.

Depending on who you ask, the Chiefs opponent this week is either going to be great, or flop, this year.  We'll dive in on what challenge is ahead for the heavily favored Chiefs.  And Eli Drinkwitz and his Missouri Tigers will get a chance to show us what they are all about in their second game... at Tennessee.  Plus, the NFL is threatening fines for coaches not wearing masks so it looks good on tv.  I'll explain why this is a total fraud.

Ryan Derks, politically speaking, is trying to do the impossible.  Derks is a young Republican trying to beat Cleaver in Missouri's 5th for the U.S. House and he's got a new playbook.  He's not working for suburban votes, he's walking door to door and barbershop to barbershop to court black voters in KCMO where he has lived for years.  The big Dem Machine is pushing back hard and Derks is not happy that people around him are feeling the heat.  Politics is a nasty business, and while he's no typical candidate or Republican, Derks says he's not afraid of the fight.  And while Derks knows he will likely lose, he's actually just trying to spread a message to voters that feel the Dems have left them behind.

The Chiefs must have looked like a horror show to the 30 NFL coaches watching MNF, good luck stopping KC.  And longtime sportscaster and my professional mentor, Frank Boal talks about his passion for mountain climbing, the state of media today and those amazing Chiefs.

I'm done hearing comparisons about Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson like some sort of Brady v Manning thing.  Lamar Jackson is a mess as a pocket passer as KC continues its dominance of wannabe Baltimore while Mahomes has a game for the ages.  We should have known it was coming.  Chiefs are 3-0!

President Trump couldn't lose by calling for a drug test before or right after Tuesday's debate.  The media, of course, were going to gobble it up and Biden could never give in and do it.  But the seed is planted in what is another brilliant, instinctive political move by the President.  And have you seen Sharice David's T-shirt?  It's not new but I'd never seen it until a new commercial by challenger Amanda Adkins popped up on my computer.  You have to hear this.

The Chiefs and Ravens have a lot of pressure to deliver on all the hype for this huge AFC showdown... the one seed has never been more important.  Alex Gordon left the field for the final time Sunday, where he went next was one of the classiest things I've ever seen.  And what did we learn about Mizzou Saturday against Alabama?  We'll break it down along with K-state and KU.
