We have reached Week 10 of the fantasy football season — are you tired yet? Hey, fantasy fatigue is a real thing, and Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are here to help you get through it in the latest fantasy football podcast.

It’s been an eventful week across the NFL. Cam Newton’s season is over, as the Panthers placed their (former) starting quarterback on IR (1:20). Evan Engram is now in a walking boot ahead of a same-stadium rivalry game between the Jets and Giants (8:55). Kareem Hunt is set to play vs. Bills after serving his suspension – what does this mean for Nick Chubb (11:45), and finally, quarterback god Patrick Mahomes is set to make his return from injury, and it begs the question whether his return will positively or negatively affect Damien Williams (17:50).

After discussing all that, our experts preview some interesting Week 10 matchups, including a pair of awesome primetime NFC matchups in Vikings/Cowboys (20:35) and Seahawks/49ers (25:10). After that they preview the rest of the Sunday Week 10 slate (29:00)

They then wrap up the show giving some daily fantasy bargains and fades for the week (59:00).

There was a lot of unimpressive quarterback play early in Week 9, but few signal-callers disappointed more than Mason Rudolph and Mitchell Trubisky. It’s not that they played terribly, but you just always seem to expect more from these passers considering their respective situations. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss these performances and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast.

No one realistically expected Mason Rudolph to be Big Ben 2.0, but considering that he has the No. 1 pass-blocking unit protecting him and strong weapons on the outside, his subpar performances aren’t cutting it in either fantasy or reality. In fact, if not for Jacoby Brissett going down with a knee injury early, the result of this game could have been different. And speaking of Brissett, Liz and Matt discuss the fantasy fallout of the Colts weapons — like Zach Pascal, who shined in T.Y. Hilton’s absence — if Brissett has to miss time and Brian Hoyer is the starting QB for Indy (1:15).

If you think Rudolph is sub-par, you can only imagine what Liz and Matt think about Mitchell Trubisky (11:15). Another game, another Bears loss, another crappy performance by Mitch. Oh, and DeSean Jackson, who just came back, got hurt again. Just horrible luck.

Elsewhere in the NFL, Damien Williams reappeared, rushing for over 125 yards while also out-touching LeSean McCoy (22:30). On the other side of the field, Adam Thielen re-injured his hamstring (but Stefon Diggs didn’t produce in his stead, unfortunately).

Devin Singletary may have finally asserted himself over Count Dracula I mean Frank Gore against Washington, as the electrifying rookie went off to the tune of 95 rush yards and 45 receiving yards (along with a touchdown on the ground). His older counterpart across the field, Adrian Peterson, had a solid game as well, rushing for over 100 yards (30:40).

In the late afternoon, Russell Wilson mustered his usual magic in the Seahawks' overtime win over the Buccaneers (36:20). In a game where Tyler Lockett looked incredible & D.K. Metcalf broke out, fantasy owners must consider that Seattle added Josh Gordon over the weekend. What can we expect out of Gordon on the 7-2 Seahawks?

Oakland's win over Detroit was about as exciting a fantasy matchup as we had this weekend (41:30). Our experts break down the Raiders' win and emergence as an offensive powerhouse.

Liz and Matt then continue their Week 9 recap with some quick fantasy hitters (45:15), like Kenyan Drake’s raucous Cardinals debut, Nick Foles impending return to Jacksonville, and Preston Williams’ league-winning potential (oh, and the Jets are bad).

With Liz Loza out Halloween-ing, Matt Harmon is joined by Yahoo’s very own Scott Pianowski for the latest fantasy football podcast.

And with Halloween on the mind, there are some scary situations in the NFL, starting the Steelers backfield, which is a true house of horrors right now. James Conner, Jaylen Samuels, and Benny Snell are all either dealing with injuries or trying to return from them. Seems like Samuels is ready to go, but nonetheless, Scott and Matt break down these situations (3:20).

From scary RBs to terrifying QBs, we got confirmation that Kyle Allen is returning under center in Carolina for at least one more week, even though it seems Cam Newton will be making his grand return soon (8:10), Andy Dalton was outright benched in favor of Ryan Finley for the Bengals (16:25), and an injured Joe Flacco will give way to Brandon Allen at QB for the Broncos (21:00).

Week 9 marks the beginning of #HandcuffSZN, as a prime second-half strategy is for fantasy managers to start adding handcuffs to elite running backs (23:00) Some options include: Alexander Mattison, Gus Edwards, Ryquell Armstead, Tony Pollard, Darrell Henderson, and Reggie Bonnafon. Mark Walton is another option worth adding who is actually a starter, and maybe even Darwin Thompson is a sneaky add?

Scott and Matt also discuss the value of Raiders players (like Tyrell Williams and Darren Waller) in the second half (36:25), as well as why you should be caring about second-half strength of schedule (40:05).

After discussing all that, our experts preview some interesting Week 9 matchups in Chicago vs. Philadelphia and Jacksonville vs. Houston (45:25). They then wrap up the show giving some daily fantasy bargains and fades for the week (52:35).

You know that moment when that player you’ve been waiting to go off, finally goes off?

We had a few of those on Sunday in Week 8. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon talk about those performances and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast.

Above all, the most “FINALLY!” moments of the week have to go to rookie running backs, David Montgomery (1:00) and Miles Sanders (5:50). You wanna talk about waiting for guys to go off, look no further. Montgomery (31 total touches, 147 total yards, 1 TD) and Sanders (6 total touches, 118 total yards, 1 TD, 1 2-point conversion) had great days, but the question Liz and Matt try to answer is: Are these performances for real? Can we trust them going forward? The Bears' las

Elsewhere in Week 8, Drew Brees returned but it was Latavius Murray who won the day (11:00). After taking over for an injured Alvin Kamara the last two weeks, Murray has been EATING, posting back-to-back 25+ fantasy point outings. That said, the party could end for Murray, as the Saints will go on bye in Week 9 and Kamara is expected to return to action in Week 10. On the other side of the field, Chase Edmonds, coming off a shocking performance in Week 8, got hurt against the Saints, but it’ll be hard to trust any Zona RB against the undefeated 49ers in Week 9.

Mike Evans exploded in Week 8 (198 yards, 2 TD). The same can’t be said, unfortunately, for Tennessee's wideouts (16:20). Most of us expected the likes of Corey Davis and A.J. Brown to continue their growth alongside Ryan Tannehill, but our expectations were not met (understatement).

After all that FAAB was used on Ty Johnson, the Lions continue to prove to us that their backfield is actually a minefield. Well, at least Matthew Stafford and Daniel Jones both had excellent fantasy days (22:20).

The Atlanta Falcons haven't missed a step (for better or worse). With Matt Schaub under center, he came close to replicating Matt Ryan's stats but have no fear, the Dirty Birds are still in the gutter (29:10).

How about those 49ers? Tevin Coleman went absolutely nuts (13 touches, 118 total yards, FOUR total touchdowns) and newcomer Emmanuel Sanders caught a touchdown on the 9ers first offensive drive. On the other side, Kyle Allen could do nothing against the vaunted San Francisco defense — so we can expect Cam Newton to return to the starting role soon when he’s ready (31:15).

Liz & Matt wrap up the show with the late-breaking news that J.J. Watt will miss the remainder of the season with a torn pectoral muscle (39:50). With an already shaky defense, how will the Texans adjust and could Gardner Minshew lead the Jags in a repeat stellar performance next week against Houston?

With the NFL trade deadline less than a week away, some teams have already begun to make moves. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss those trades and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast.

Mohamed Sanu and Emmanuel Sanders are both on new teams, and in better situations, too. Sanu is now on the undefeated Patriots, who lost WR Josh Gordon to the IR (0:50), and Sanders is on the undefeated 49ers (7:30). Liz and Matt discuss those trades and how they impact the fantasy landscape.

Gordon wasn't the only big name fantasy player to hit the injured reserve. The Detroit Lions placed RB Kerryon Johnson on the IR and our experts diagnose whether Ty Johnson, the most added player in Yahoo leagues, is the answer (13:00).

Earlier in the week, Yahoo Fantasy’s very own James Koh tweeted out a graphic of where the top players in ADP currently stand through seven weeks of the season and ... well ... it’s not pretty. To think, the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Joe Mixon, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Saquon Barkley are nowhere near the top-20 at their position is unreal. Liz and Matt break down this stunning group and offer up some suggestions for dealing with the reality of this situation in fantasy (19:00).

After discussing all that, our experts preview some interesting Week 8 matchups in Tampa Bay vs. Tennessee (the Ryan Tannehill era is here!) and Philadelphia (can the Eagles get it together on offense?) vs. Buffalo (37:40). Liz Loza & Matt Harmon, unfortunately, have to discuss a LOT of injuries that occurred in Week 7, headlined by Patrick Mahomes being lost for about a month due to a kneecap injury suffered against the Broncos (1:00). Other big injuries fantasy gamers dealt with include Matt Ryan (ankle), Adam Thielen (hamstring), Kerryon Johnson (knee), and Ito Smith (head/neck), to name a few. Even Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley, who just returned from injuries, got banged up during their game. Liz and Matt discuss the fantasy implications of all those losses in this episode, particularly the Engram and Barkley re-injuries (13:15). Are players coming back too soon? Liz has thoughts.

Elsewhere in the NFL, the Vikings offense looked unstoppable against the Detroit Lions (18:30) and Aaron Rodgers delivered his game of the year thus far, lighting up Oakland for over 400 yards and six total touchdowns while sharing the wealth to EVERYBODY (22:00). Jared Goff and the Rams went back to their high-scoring ways, but are they back, or is this just a symptom of playing the Falcons (27:00)? (Then again, they play the Bengals next week, so there’s that). Deshaun Watson helped DeAndre Hopkins, Kenny Stills, and Keke Coutee all enjoy productive fantasy days, albeit in a loss to Jacoby Brissett and the Colts (29:00).

There’s a lot to talk about as we head into Week 7 of the NFL season, and Liz Loza and Matt Harmon cover it all in the latest fantasy football podcast.

First up, how about that trade the Los Angeles Rams swung for Jalen Ramsey? Talk about going for it all! The Rams went YOLO with their defense and the Jaguars got a decent haul and seem to be rebuilding on the fly better than a certain aquatic team in south Florida (1:00).

Elsewhere in the NFL, fantasy gamers are crossing their fingers that Saquon Barkley will return on Sunday for a plus-matchup against the Arizona Cardinals after practicing for two days straight (12:50).

And now, for a topic that most fantasy gamers have been frustrated with the past couple seasons: Tight Ends! Scott Pianowski recently shuffled-up the tight end position, and now that we’ve gone past “Peach Season,” (drafting the top TEs), it’s apple-picking season. AKA, Liz and Matt discuss which tight ends are worth adding off the waiver wire and streaming via matchup, names like Jason Witten, Dawson Knox, and both Houston Texan tight ends, just to name a few (17:40).

Somehow, Week 7 is cursing us with some BAD quarterbacks going against some BAD defenses. Liz and Matt discuss their thoughts on these matchups, like Ryan Tannehill (taking over the recently benched Marcus Mariota) going against the Chargers, Gardner Minshew vs. the terrible Bengals, and Daniel Jones taking on the Cardinals’ sieve-like defense (29:30).

Week 6 was not without a few surprises, starting with Marcus Mariota getting benched against the Broncos in favor of Ryan Tannehill (0:45). Well ... “in favor” is probably not the best use of that phrase, as Tannehill was not much better against a Broncos defense that came to play.

Moving to games and teams that matter, Liz Loza & Matt Harmon break down the weekend's biggest storylines on this episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast.

In the first of two home losses on Sunday for teams in LA, the Rams were handily beat at home by the division-rival 49ers (3:15). Yeah, we know the 49ers are for real now, but what should we make of the fading Rams and their indecipherable backfield?

Speaking of confusing backfields, what are the New Orleans Saints if they don't have Alvin Kamara or Drew Brees (9:30)?

Sam Darnold made his (glorious?) return to the New York Jets on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys and instantly, the Jets offense changed completely (13:40). It seemed like Mononucleosis may have made Darnold stronger, as he came out firing on all cylinders; by the time the fourth quarter was halfway through, Darnold had thrown for over 300 yards and two touchdowns.

But while Darnold’s absence due to an ailment ended, others emerged. Will Dissly — who seemed to be on the verge of a breakout — left with what is feared to be an Achilles injury during the Seahawks' victory in Cleveland. Matt and Liz breakdown the number of interesting storylines as a result of that game (22:50).

Other big matchups on Sunday included the Vikings-Eagles, where Stefon Diggs EXPLODED for 185 total yards and three TDs (27:30). That’s back-to-back weeks where a Viking receiver has gone off — but can we trust it, or will they revert back to the Dalvin Cook Show?

The Texans defeated the Chiefs, handing Patrick Mahomes and the team their second straight loss (34:10). Our experts break down this anticipated matchup, including this startling fact: Houston’s offensive line didn’t allow a single sack!

Curtis Samuel went off in London, while O.J. Howard collected just two catches amidst growing trade rumors (43:05)

Oh, and Adrian Peterson? Yeah, he had a big day (45:15). Listen in as Liz and Matt discuss the fantasy reverberations of all those matchups and more.

On Monday night, the 49ers put on a running clinic in against the Cleveland Browns, but it ended up coming at a heavy cost: The team lost both their fullback and their right tackle to injury. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon open the show this week discussing the prospects of Matt Breida, Tevin Coleman and play a little game of either/or with the San Francisco backfield (2:06).

There's a lot to consider in Kansas City with now that the injury bug has shown its ugly head. With Sammy Watkins getting hurt and Tyreek Hill not yet ready to return, Byron Pringle emerged against the Colts — but is he the real deal – and does any of that matter if Patrick Mahomes is hobbled with an injured ankle (9:15)?

In other news, Chris Herndon made fantasy gamers rage uncontrollably after he hurt his hamstring in practice — and this is after waiting for him to return from his suspension. Not great. Liz & Matt break down the frustrating Jets offense and recommend some sage for Gang Green (15:45).

Oh, and Christian McCaffrey scared the sh** out of everybody by missing practice with a back issue but he returned to a full practice (thankfully). With that said, McCaffrey’s backup, Reggie Bonnafon, impressed late against the Jaguars, making him arguably the most valuable handcuff in fantasy (24:15).

Mark Walton got promoted after Kalen Ballage ... Kalen Ballage’d. Is Walton on the fantasy radar? What about the rest of the Dolphins, who are playing a must-lose game against Washington this week (31:30).

You want to talk about big performances, look no further than Week 5. In the latest fantasy football podcast, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon recap those outings, and much more, and they’re joined by Psych and A Million Little Things alum, James Roday!

We can’t talk about big performances without talking about what Christian McCaffrey did to the Jacksonville Jaguars (1:30). Run-CMC racked up a whopping 237 total yards and three touchdowns on 25 total touches. Those are video game numbers. But after another monster day by McCaffrey, the Panthers are 3-0 during the Kyle Allen era. So, it begs the question: Are the Panthers — Matt’s ex-lover — a truly better team without Cam Newton?

Minshew-Mania stumbled against McCaffrey’s Panthers, but there were fantasy goodies to be had on the Jaguars side of the ball, too. Gardner Minshew (26/44 for 374 yards and 2 TDs), Leonard Fournette (137 total yards, 1 TD), D.J. Chark (164 yards, 2 TDs) all provided great days. 

You’ll remember last week, the frustration about the Vikings passing had boiled over, especially with their two stud wideouts, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Well, the coaching staff heard — sort of. Adam Thielen and Kirk Cousins had good days; Diggs, not so much. Across on the other side of the scoreboard, the Giants lost Wayne Gallman to a concussion. And while Saquon Barkley continues to build evidence of his inhuman nature, Liz and Matt discuss Vikings/Giants and whether Jonathan Hilliman is now on the fantasy radar (11:30).

Before the Sunday night clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts, Teddy Bridgewater was the third-highest scoring fantasy quarterback. Yes, that Teddy Bridgewater, thanks to 314 pass yards and four touchdowns — so maybe this offense isn’t as in trouble as we initially thought after the Drew Brees injury (19:30).

Back to the AFC South, the Will Fuller explosion happened, as the wideout turned 16 targets into 14 catches, 217 yards, and 3 TDs. His quarterback, Deshaun Watson, had a day too, throwing five touchdowns and totaling 473 yards through the air and on the ground (28:15).

Have to shout out Josh Jacobs too, who, going up against the vaunted Bears defense and playing overseas, went off for 143 total yards and two touchdowns (30:30)

Aaron Jones decided to put on his best Christian McCaffrey impression against Dallas, going off for FOUR touchdowns and over 180 combined yards (35:45). On the other side of the spectrum, Amari Cooper turned 14 targets into 11 catches, 226 yards, and a touchdown. 

Big, unexpected performances indeed.

It’s no surprise that the Minnesota Vikings have loved to run the ball in 2019. Like, LOVED it. Like, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs have been suffering because of it, and so has every fantasy gamer who drafted one (or both) of the talented Vikings wide receivers. Thielen has voiced his frustration, but, in a surprise to the entire fantasy community, it was Diggs who missed practice for a non-football reason this week.

The trade rumor mill was unleashed. Liz and Matt discuss the Diggs situation and much more on the latest fantasy football podcast (0:20).

Diggs returned to practice on Thursday, but when asked about the trade rumors, he said, “There’s truth to all rumors.” #Spicy

Speaking of star wideouts, it seems like A.J. Green will be out longer than expected with injury. The rumors of a Green trade have surfaced as well (8:40).

More on the injury front: The Bears are set to play without the services of their starting quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky, but could Chicago actually be better without him? Liz and Matt analyze the Bears (13:00), while also discussing the impending return of young Jets tight end, Chris Herndon (19:00).

Liz and Matt are then joined by Brad Evans to talk about the running back situation as it stands in fantasy right now, including Brad’s favorite, David Montgomery, as well as the Eagles and the resurgence of one Ronald Jones II (24:00).

After discussing all that, our experts provide some tantalizing daily fantasy bargains (38:00) as well as preview a pair of sneaky-interesting Week 5 matchups in Texans/Falcons and 49ers/Browns (49:20)

Week 4 has been ... interesting. After a bunch of random, waiver-wire-fodder players scored, many matchups that looked like they’d be easy wins for the favorites went down to the wire, including the game between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs. Not only did the Lions defense surprise in holding Patrick Mahomes to no touchdowns, but Detroit’s fantasy assets showed out as well. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon break that game down and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast, starting with the Cleveland Browns offensive resurgence against the Baltimore Ravens (1:00).

Matthew Stafford, Kerryon Johnson, Kenny Golladay, and T.J. Hockenson all had great days in a losing effort for the Detroit but Liz and Matt ask, should we be paying the Lions more respect (7:00)?

Elsewhere in the NFL, Wayne Gallman lived up to many fantasy owners' hopes and dreams as Saquon Barkley's replacement (11:55). Gallman was the clear lead back for the Giants on a day that Daniel Jones was not at his best, and is expected to be just that as long as Saquon Barkley remains out. Speaking of that Giants game, Dwayne Haskins finally made his NFL debut in a plus matchup ... and it wasn’t great. Our experts debate whether he’s worth a stash in fantasy.

Speaking of quarterbacks, Jacoby Brissett has now delivered back-to-back high-scoring fantasy weeks (20:15). The question Liz and Matt aim to answer is: Do we consider Brissett a QB1 going forward?

Liz and Matt would be remiss if they didn’t address the fact that DeAndre Hopkins has now gone three consecutive weeks with quiet outputs after his Week 1 explosion. What do we make if it? Our experts discuss the Houston receiver and the Texans' receiver corps without Kenny Stills (26:40).

Gotta talk about the Rams-Buccaneers game, which was not only the highest-scoring game of the season so far, it’s the highest-scoring game in Tampa Bay history. Our experts break down that game and all the action that took place (33:30). 

They wrap up with the exciting Thursday night game between the Packers and Eagles marvel at the Green Bay offense that is putting up points but doesn't seem to have it all together yet (36:50).

The Giants dealt with a double-edged sword in Week 3. On the one hand, Daniel Jones took the reins of New York’s offense and delivered an awesome performance. Unfortunately, during the game, the Giants (and fantasy gamers) lost Saquon Barkley. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon talk about the reverberations of those events in this week’s fantasy football podcast (0:40).

With Saquon out for a few weeks, do we trust Wayne Gallman to carry the load? And can Daniel Jones continue to spread the ball around to his receivers in the weeks to come the way he did against Tampa Bay, without his star running back alongside him?

Elsewhere in the NFL, Melvin Gordon ended his holdout on Wednesday evening, and the screams of everyone who had been riding Austin Ekeler these past three weeks were heard the world over (4:40). In their second trade in as many weeks, the Pittsburgh Steelers traded a 2020 5th round pick for Seahawks TE Nick Vannett. Liz & Matt discuss what the trade could mean in both Seattle and Western Pennsylvania (11:10).

Liz and Matt are then joined by Dalton Del Don to discuss the strange wide receiver situation in fantasy, and how the current top 30 at the position is full of some unexpected names (SAMMY WATKINS IS NO. 3, FOR GOD’S SAKE). You’ll recall, Dalton wrote up a draft piece on the Zero-WR method. He discusses how his piece is reflected by this weird top-30 (21:55).

Speaking of wide receivers, T.Y. Hilton has been enjoying a great start to the season, but he’s now dealing with a quad injury. Our experts discuss recommendations for replacing him if he has to miss Week 4 vs. Oakland (30:35).

What if I told you that the top-scoring fantasy quarterbacks of Week 3 before Sunday Night Football would be Patrick Mahomes (duh), Russell Wilson (fine), Deshaun Watson (expected), DANIEL JONES (huh?) and KYLE ALLEN (what?!)?

I’d sound crazy, but in a week when 20 quarterbacks under the age of 26 started an NFL game, that indeed is the result at the quarterback position #TheFutureIsNow. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss those performances and much more in the latest Yahoo Fantasy Football podcast.

They open the show recapping a trio of games: the Lamar Jackson/Patrick Mahomes duel in Kansas City (0:35), Russell Wilson and Tyler Locket putting up some impressive numbers against the Saints (3:30) and and the disappointing Chargers showing at home against the Texans (6:05).

Kyle Allen and Daniel Jones showed out for their respective teams en route to impressive victories. Daniel Jones — who lost Saquon Barkley to an ankle injury early — attacked the Buccaneers with his arm and his legs, totaling four touchdowns (11:10). Allen helped showcase just how potent this Panthers offense can be, aiding Christian McCaffrey, Greg Olsen, and Curtis Samuel to big days (16:05). 

Elsewhere in the NFL, the dominant 49ers from last weekend? They were nowhere to be seen, barely eking out a win versus the uninspired Steelers (23:45). Matt breaks down another week with his roller-coaster favorite team.

The Vikings continued to prove that this is the Dalvin Cook show, with some Adam Thielen sprinkled in (three catches, 55 yards, one touchdown, one rush, one touchdown) (27:20). It’s Cook’s third 100+ yard rushing game of the season.

Playing without DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery, Carson Wentz and the Eagles primarily turned to Miles Sanders (126 total yards) and Nelson Agholor (50 yards, two touchdowns) in a loss against the Lions (30:55). How will this offense look when everyone is healthy again?

The Atlanta Falcons continue to put up great numbers for their fantasy owners, but have a hard time pulling away with the W in real life. Matt and Liz try to make sense of this confounding team (34:15). 

No one is confused about Minshew Mania, however. Liz takes a victory lap after the Jags got their first win of the season against the Tennessee Titans and our experts wonder not when, but if Nick Foles will return (36:45).

Liz and Matt wrap up this episode talking pickups for Week 4, including Phillip Dorsett, Preston Williams and coming off his surprising Week 3 performance, Buffalo Bills tight end, Dawson Knox (41:30).

If the story of Week 2 were the star QBs injured and out for the foreseeable future, then the story of Week 3 are the fresh faces we'll be seeing in their places. On this edition of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast, Liz Loza & Matt Harmon dive into the offenses we'll be seeing this weekend manned by unproven young passers.

The injury monster reared its ugly head of late, and it has not stopped terrorizing the league since. David Njoku took a brutal hit on Monday Night Football, fracturing his wrist and leaving the game with a concussion. DeSean Jackson is out with a hip strain, and he’s not the only Eagle dealing with ailments. LeSean McCoy looked set to get his first start in the Kansas City backfield ... and then he hurt his ankle. Luckily, there’s no structural damage, but both he and Damien Williams are questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Ravens.

The San Francisco 49ers didn’t do much to impress, fantasy-wise, in Week 1. They did win, 31-17, but it was their strong defense that stole the show. Well, things changed in Week 2, as everything on the offensive side of the ball seemed to be working for the Kyle Shanahan-led unit en route to a 41-17 domination of the Cincinnati Bengals. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon break down that performance and more in this week’s Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast (0:20).

Can’t mention the 49ers without mentioning the fact that Matt chose them to be the team he’d be a lifelong fan of in 2019, and he’s definitely pleased with his choice after Week 2. Jimmy Garoppolo, Deebo Samuel, Marquise Goodwin, Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson, and Matt Breida all shined individually in this game.

While the Niners looked great, it called into sharp contrast Matt's previous lifelong favorite team: the Carolina Panthers. Liz & Matt debate the Panthers' crushing Thursday night loss and whether fantasy owners should give up on Cam Newton (3:30).

Elsewhere in the NFL, a tale of two tight ends: Will Dissly shined with two touchdowns, while O.J. Howard continued to disappoint in Tampa (7:00). Speaking of disappointments, the Steelers continued to struggle on offense with and without Big Ben (10:10).

The Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs continue to be great, although the lack of a running game — and a Sammy Watkins repeat (though he did have 13 targets) — were a bit alarming considering the Raiders were beaten early in this game (14:35).

Fantasy gamers suffered through the entire Rams-Saints game with bated breath, awaiting word of the extent of Drew Brees’ injury (22:25).

One team with very few worries right now are the Dallas Cowboys, who are getting great production out of just about everybody (28:25).

Liz and Matt wrap up this episode talking pickups for Week 3, including the ageless, probably immortal Frank Gore (32:50) and all of the Jacksonville wide receivers (35:35).

Well, the Week 2 action is here, but we’ve already begun dealing with the injury monster. Once again, Hunter Henry has fallen victim, this time thanks to a fracture in his left knee. His fellow Charger, Mike Williams, is also dealing with a knee injury of his own. Sadly, Derrius Guice underwent surgery for a torn meniscus and will be sidelined for about eight weeks. Quincy Enunwa is out for the year with a neck injury.

Oh, and speaking of Jets, quarterback Sam Darnold will also miss some time ... with mono. It’s been rough being a Jets fan of late, to say the least.

Before we get into all the most important talking points of the first Sunday of Week 1, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon would be remiss if they didn’t talk about the mind-boggling Antonio Brown situation (0:10). This is the stuff conspiracy theories are made for. After all the craziness of AB’s extremely short-lived tenure with the Raiders, Brown is now a member of the New England Patriots. Tom Brady will now have the luxury of throwing to Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, and Brown.

Can’t make this stuff up, folks.

But let’s move onto a wild football Sunday, starting with the tie in Arizona (5:05). Was the come-from-behind stalemate a good sign for Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury's air raid offense?

Jacksonville’s offense suffered a massive blow on Sunday, losing quarterback Nick Foles to a broken clavicle. Rookie Gardner Minshew entered and threw the football well, but the Jags couldn’t keep up with the Chiefs machine (10:00). What does this mean for the outlooks of Leonard Fournette, Dede Westbrook, D.J. Chark, and Chris Conley (who all had their moments on Sunday)?

Liz and Matt then run down some of the rookie performances on Sunday, and, well, the rookie receivers outclassed their running back counterparts (16:30). Led by Marquise “Hollywood” Brown (4 catches, 147 yards, 2 TDs), A.J. Brown (3 catches, 100 yards) and Terry McLaurin (5 catches, 125 yards, 1 TD) showed OUT early, while Devin Singletary (4 rushes, 70 yds/5 catches, 28 yds), David Montgomery (10 rushes, 18 yds/1 rec, 27 yds), and Miles Sanders (11 rushes, 25 yds/1 catch, 2 yds) had their moments, but couldn’t outshine the receivers.

We received as hard of a confirmation as we could have possibly gotten from the Minnesota Vikings’ new offensive philosophy, as running back Dalvin Cook took his 23 touches for 113 total yards and two TDs (35:40). For comparison, Kirk Cousins had just 10 passing attempts. One confirmation we didn’t receive this week was the expected high-flying Browns offense, which totally bottomed out this week.

Baker Mayfield had an ugly day, throwing three picks, and the offense just couldn’t get any consistency going against the Titans (39:00). On the flip-side, the Baltimore Ravens had EVERYTHING going on Sunday, crushing the Dolphins, 59-10. Lamar Jackson silenced his haters (at least this week) by throwing five touchdowns and completing 85 percent of his passes. Oh, and he had just three rushing attempts.

To the surprise of pretty much the entire sports world, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck announced that he was retiring from football on Saturday, August 24. If you can imagine the shockwave Luck’s retirement made throughout the NFL, then the reverberations his decision have made and will continue to make in fantasy football are just as big. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon break down the stunning events in this episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast (0:30).

Jacoby Brissett will now be the starting QB of the Colts. Liz and Matt give their thoughts on Brissett being a viable fantasy option now that he’s at the helm of this offense. And speaking of which, what does this all mean for the fantasy weapons of Indy? Big names like T.Y. Hilton, Marlon Mack, and Eric Ebron all have to be viewed in a different light in fantasy drafts (12:40).

Elsewhere in the NFL, Cam Newton went down with a sprained left feet during the Panthers third preseason game against the Patriots. Well, this isn’t good. After a report that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck would probably not play the entire preseason this year because of a calf injury, Colts’ owner Jim Irsay said it’s a bone issue. And before talking about this “small little bone,” Irsay referenced Kevin Durant (we all remember what happened to KD’s Achilles in the NBA Finals) and how everyone is erring on the side of caution after the new Brooklyn Net’s injury.

This is obviously not the news fantasy football gamers want to hear in regards to Luck. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon try to make sense of it all in this episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast.

Is it his calf? Is it his ankle? What “small bone?” Luck is one of the few quarterbacks who can actually challenge Patrick Mahomes for the title of top fantasy QB in 2019, as Luck’s situation in Indy is arguably the best it’s ever been since he was drafted. Well, we’re just about to enter the second week of the NFL preseason, and already the fantasy hype meters for quite a few players have either skyrocketed or plummeted. Training Camp is in full swing, and players are already doing their best to show out. Unfortunately, not all is well. As players begin to up their intensity, so too does the risk of injury rise. We’re seeing some big names banged up already, with the biggest headline involving A.J. Green, who suffered yet another lower-body injury, this time to his ankle. He will reportedly not be on the field for a couple of regular season games. The Bengals have been hit hard by injuries to the O-line too — so what should fantasy gamers do about this team (3:50)?

On to a more positive note, the fantasy drumbeat continues to grow for key players (26:15). Curtis Samuel, a Harmon favorite, continues to shine in camp. Fantasy Football players awoke to the news that stud running back Melvin Gordon was holding out against the Los Angeles Chargers in an attempt to receive a new contract. According to Gordon, he will not be reporting to camp until a new deal is made. If no deal is made, he will demand a trade!

If Gordon indeed lives up to his demands, does this affect your thoughts on his fantasy draft value? He’s been a perennial first-round talent the last couple of seasons, but as we’ve seen with Le’Veon Bell, a draft-day fall could be in the cards for the Chargers RB. On that same note, does Austin Ekeler become more than just a handcuff now?

Liz and Matt got an interesting voicemail this week. A fantasy football gamer has been debating whether he should forego the 10th overall pick in his 10-player, full-PPR keeper league draft in favor of keeping stud running back, Christian McCaffrey.

Run-CMC went nuts in fantasy last season, delivering first round value. And lest we forget, McCaffrey went viral earlier this year for showcasing Hulk-like arms, so maybe the best is yet to come? We’re in the waning days of May, but it’s never too early to talk fantasy football, and one of the most enjoyable aspects of the offseason is being able to mock draft. Matt Harmon and Liz Loza have been taking part in some industry mocks lately, and they start off this week’s fantasy football podcast episode by talking about the drafts they’ve completed thus far (5:00).

You know, for a moment there, it seemed like the New York Jets were actually moving in the right direction. Their young quarterback, Sam Darnold, showed signs of potential greatness last season. Elsewhere in the NFL, there are whispers of Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph being on the trade block. What with the Vikings’ cap space and their selection of rookie Irv Smith in the 2019 NFL Draft, Rudolph’s future with the team remains up in the air. The 2019 NFL Draft is in the books and the teams that that befuddled and confused over the offseason like the New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders continued that tradition through draft night.

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon report in from Buffalo's Nashville with a special two-part draft recap combining their fantasy expertise with Yahoo Sports' Terez Paylor and Charles Robinson, hosts of the Yahoo Sports NFL Podcast.

The 2019 NFL Draft is next week. Football fans are hoping their team picks the player(s) who will take them to the next level. Fantasy football fans want to find out who, if any of these rookies, will be fantasy viable this coming season.

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are here to help you get through it all in this week’s podcast episode.

The 2019 NFL Draft is right around the corner. Last week, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon broke down the biggest names at quarterback and tight end, and this week it’s time to look into fantasy football’s glamour position: Running Backs.

In this week’s fantasy football podcast however, Matt is joined by Eric Edholm, who returns to Yahoo as our NFL Draft Analyst!

Before they get to the draft talk though, the New England Patriots and New York Giants made some noteworthy moves. In the wake of Rob Gronkowski’s retirement, the Pats signed tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (3:10), and of course he will deliver the same fantasy value as Gronk has always done (insert sarcasm here).

The Giants, on the other hand, turned inward, signing wide receiver Sterling Shepard to an extension (7:10). Can he eat sans Odell Beckham, Jr., or will he be hindered by Eli Manning?

The incoming running back class is led by Alabama’s Josh Jacobs, but Matt and Eric also discuss what promise (if any) the likes of Miles Sanders, Justice Hill, and Bryce Love will bring to both fantasy and reality (16:20).

We’re in April, and you know what that means. It’s time to talk the 2019 NFL Draft, and Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are more than ready in this week’s fantasy football podcast.

Before they get into the nitty-gritty of it all, they circle back to last week, to discuss the Jordan Howard trade from the Bears to the Eagles (which Liz and Matt pretty much predicted, btw) (3:20).

They also discussed the prospects of the Rams backfield potentially changing last week, and lo and behold, C.J. Anderson signed with the Lions (7:20). Will he be a factor in Detroit — and potentially a thorn in Kerryon Johnson’s fantasy owners’ sides?

Now, we all know about the cringeworthy showing by the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl. Quarterback Jared Goff could pretty much do nothing against the New England Patriots.

Now, it seems like the Rams don’t really know when they’ll extend Goff.

On this week’s fantasy football podcast, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon examine the question of whether the Rams even want to extend their young QB (0:45)

Staying with the Rams, Liz and Matt dive into the fickle world of mock drafts, where some actually have the Rams selecting Alabama’s Josh Jacobs at the end of the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft (8:00).

Uh, Todd Gurley, anyone? We’re all familiar with the soap opera that occurred late in the season in regards to his injury. Could the Rams try to solidify the position with a draft pick?

With all this talk about Goff and Gurley, are the Rams set to undergo a makeover sooner than we expect?

Liz and Matt stay on the west coast, where the 49ers have a ton of backfield options, but who do we trust in fantasy (16:30)? Will it be Jerick McKinnon, returned from injury? Or how about Matt Breida and Raheem Mostert? Or maybe Tevin Coleman will be the one to lead this group?

Elsewhere in the NFL, Jordan Howard was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, but Matt & Liz didn't know that at the time the episode was recorded. So instead, listen to their incredibly prescient takes on the former Chicago running back (20:00).

Later, they hop on board the Chris Godwin hype train after Adam Humphries signed with the Titans (30:40). Speaking of hype, the Saints signed the resurgent Jared Cook which opens up a larger conversation Cook's value in the frustratingly shallow tight end market (25:55).

As the last puzzle pieces of free agency come into place, Matt Harmon and Liz Loza start off the show this week by addressing a very serious voicemail from a distraught Giants fan driven to the brink of despair by GM Dave Gettleman (3:00).

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming! Matt and Liz are joined by Alex Gelhar, formerly of NFL Fantasy, to provide fantasy (and legal) insight through the show. And speaking of puzzles, a few puzzling moves trickled across the league as three, shall we say, less than good quarterbacks took a carousel ride to new locker rooms. 

Matt and Liz kick off the quarterback discussion by analyzing the trade of Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans to presumably back up Marcus Mariota (9:00), then look at the Miami side of the equation where Ryan Fitzpatrick was signed by the presumably tanking Dolphins (14:20).

Also in the news, Rams fans were treated to news of the signing of their new backup QB, the immortal Blake Bortles (19:30), while the very mortal Tyler Eifert re-signed with the Cincinnati Bengals (21:30).

Moving to two former Packers, Randall Cobb signed a one year deal with the Dallas Cowboys (24:20) and any dreams of Jordy Nelson pairing with Antonio Brown were shut down as he was released by the Oakland Raiders. The crew discusses their favorite potential landing spots for Nelson and wonder if he could return to the green and gold (27:10).

Lastly, Matt, Liz and Alex discuss Chris Conley signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars and who among that receiver corps seems more likely to establish a good rapport with newly signed QB Nick Foles (30:20).

In last week's podcast episode, we pondered the idea of whether the Raiders could make a splash and add either Le'Veon Bell or Antonio Brown. Well, they got one of 'em!

The scouting combine is over; now 7 weeks of speculation begins as to where the 2019 class of rookies will land and how the draft will be affected by free agency and trades reshuffling the deck.
