Adam welcomes Teresa Strasser back for today's show. They talk about her new book, Adam's final days at Love Line, and play a round of Tales from the Cheap.

Adam sits with Teresa Strasser right from the top of the show. Bald Bryan and Jessica Golden are there as well, and Adam compliments Teresa on her intellect and her writing ability. Teresa talks about the importance of having a zero tolerance policy while she was pregnant, and tells a harrowing story that nearly sent her into an early labor.

Jumping into the news, the top story is the shooting in Panama City. Adam recalls doing a spring break show with Dr. Drew back in the Love Line days. He also tells the story of a PA who thought he was an asshole after asking for a Peach Snapple. Also in the news is the guy who stole 1.5 million in Bellagio chips, and Adam explains how unlucky he is in Vegas.

After tearing into the always dry and unfunny 'Funny Section' of the newspaper, everyone plays a round of Tales From the Cheap. The guys take calls to hear the cheapest, worst Christmas presents, and Adam recalls his own awful gifts. He also goes on a long rant about the cheapness of the suits at Love Line, and talks about the drama surrounding the final contract negotiations.

Adam and Jessica jump right into the news. The top story involves a Wisconsin postal worker who delivers mail in the buff. They also play a brief round of Germany or Florida as they discuss the story of a father who castrated the older man that was having an affair with his teenage daughter. Adam also goes on a jag about 90s musicians, and talks about shitty international music from Russia and Mexico.



Doug Benson comes in studio just in time to discuss the Golden Globe nominations. Doug is truly fascinated by the movies that were picked, and brings up the problems with nominating people you recognize just for being a movie star. Mostly they focus their wrath on Johnny Depp. The guys also talk about Doug's new show, The Benson Interruption, and Adam's appearance this Friday.



The guys then jump into some movie talk. Adam and Doug discuss movies they watched on airplanes, and Adam also complains about Adam Sandler movies and Tyler Perry movies. Adam also recalls his experience at Pixar, and the group plays a very intense round of Totally Topical Tivo Trivia, where the group tries to guess the film based on the vague and confusing TiVo descriptions.



Adam reintroduces the latest Rich Banks song about solving the crisis in Africa. Jessica then jumps back into the news with a further discussion of the Golden Globe nominations. Wrapping up the show, they dive into a couple sports stories: Cam Newton's Heisman, the collapse of the Metrodome, and an analysis of Brett Favre's image.

Jumping into the news, the top story today is the death of Senator Richard Holbrooke. She also reads a very disturbing story about a professor who was Sexting with his daughter. There's some gossip news revolving around divas like Chloe Kardashian and Kate Gosselin. Finally, she lists off the Most Depressing Jobs.



Larry Miller comes in for The Hypothetical Road Trip Game. Prior to the game, there's a little conversation about Germans trying to perfect the art of the sitcom, and in the midst of the game they discuss the legacy of the Native Americans. As Larry heads out, Adam plays another section from his audiobook, which is now beating former President Bush's audiobook.



The guys from Schmoes Know are back for an early Oscar preview. First up is a discussion of True Grit, and some of the other Coen Brothers films. Adam also talks about trying to train Mark Wahlberg for The Fighter, and talks about his own boxing movie. They also chat about some Oscar front-runners like Black Swan and The Social Network. Wrapping up, Adam rants about the difficulties of to cast his ex-wife in a failed sitcom pilot.

Adam talks with Kevin Nealon about the upcoming Friends of Big Joe fundraiser. Kevin also reflects on his role in Weeds and jokes with Adam about Celebrity Star Maps. He talks a bit more about the difficulty of the book biz, but mostly attributes it to dumb people. He wonders why he's the only one who thought to put a Bestseller sticker on the cover.



Rich Eisen from the NFL Network calls in and talks about the variety of guests he's been getting for his very own podcast. Adam and Rich talk about the complete blowout that was this past Monday's Patriots-Jets game, then chat about the Tom Brady legacy; including both his hair and relationship with Giselle.



Gina Grad brings the news, asking Adam if he's a fan of John Lennon. While Adam says he likes a lot of Beatles songs, he was given a copy of Double Fantasy as a kid and strongly disliked it. Gina talks about the 30-year anniversary of Lennon's death, as it was brought up in the middle of a football game. Adam also hears stories about guys filing a lawsuit against YouPorn, and Big Bloomers underwear for 700lb. women.



Throughout the news, Adam listens to a few angry rock songs from his high school years-the stuff he was actually listening to instead of Lennon. Adam then takes a few listener calls for a round of Made Up Movie. You give us the title, and the group figures out the rest, casting and all.

Dick 'Night Train' Lane came up on a sports talk show Adam was on this morning, which sounds to Adam like a gay bowling alley. He talks with Bald Bryan about Dick Butkus, who Bryan argues doesn't need a nickname. The group also discusses being famous for being a celebrity's kid, and Adam goes on a rant about over-taxing the rich.



Gina Grad jumps in with the news, talking about a new scientific finding that may help to explain infidelity and one night stands. Adam also rants about cops doing whatever the fuck they want instead of helping the citizens, and Gina plays a clip where a Chargers fan beats the crap out of a Raiders fan. Adam also talks about his family, and why the MacKenzie Phillips story still disturbs him.



Adam takes a few listener calls to give relationship advice. One caller wants to know what to do with pictures of his ex-girlfriend, and Adam tells a story from his own experience. He also talks to a college student about dealing with dentures, and helps talk a female caller out of going on an international trip with her ex-boyfriend.



Tonight's guest is the legendary Frank Stallone. He talks about his recent experience in Australia, where recently he's become one of the country's most famous celebrities. He talks about the overwhelming and wonderful experience he's had, and also talks about his relationship with his parents and brothers.

Jonathan explains that he's been in the biz for 50 years, but this is by far the most exciting thing that's happened. They also talk to him about how he got the job, and the many successes of the Dos Equis ad campaign.



Shira asks Jonathan about his relationship to the Old Spice guy, then jumps into the rest of the news. Adam talks about the Christmas parade outside shutting down the city, and Cousin Sal talks a bit of football. Andrew says that he hates Hollywood Lefties, and created the site for people to voice an alternate point of view. Adam agrees with the left's tendency towards moral superiority, and also vents about the writer's guild and other Hollywood unions.



Adam talks about time he spent with his kids over the weekend. This leads to a larger conversation about female roles in parenting, and how technology is making all of our kids lazy. Adam also joyfully recalls an experience where he and Lynette lied to the kids about Santa's reindeer, and thinks about Katy Perry's sex factor.



In the final part of the show, things turn back to politics. Andrew talks about the left trying to isolate people like Sarah Palin, and also tells his thoughts on the next presidential election in 2012. Bill also asks Alex about his own political career, stirring things up, and the responses that he's gotten from that.

As the show opens, Dr. Drew says he feels right at home since Adam and Donny are arguing again. He tries his best to stop the argument, but Donny comes on the mic to defend himself against Adam's claims. Dr. Drew reflects on his own arguments he had with Adam back in the day, and their experience trying to get out of Westwood One to record Loveline at the KROQ studios.



Today, Dr. Drew is a bit fired up over some political issues. He explains how nowadays, citizens basically expect the government to abuse them. Adam chimes in about the regulations in the private sector, and how competition is a crucial part of getting people motivated to do their jobs quickly and correctly. Adam and Dr. Drew expand on the economics behind everything, and Dr. Drew explains how it's impacting the medical field.



Adam takes a listener phone call who asks the guys what they're most afraid of when it comes to raising their kids. Dr. Drew says he's been much more freaked out about drugs and alcohol than sex and relationships. He explains his motivations and procedures as a good parent, and suggests what he would do if his kids were caught while involved in illegal activities.



In the last segment of the show, Adam talks about his book sales, and how he isn't sure how to talk to his Mom about it. Afterwards, they talk about the new season of Celebrity rehab, and take one final listener call who thanks Dr. Drew for inspiring his career path. Adam and Dr. Drew reflect a bit more on some of their douchier Loveline guests, and Donny comes back in to patch things up from their earlier argument.

Happy Thanksgiving! Jim 'Pops' Carolla is here, Adam talks to him about family Thanksgiving dinners from back in the day. Adam complains about the lack of food in his house, and talks with his dad about the reasons why. Jim also talks about his love for sports-much to Adam's surprise.



Adam teases his dad about several sound drops they've played of both him, and Adam's mother. Adam sits down 1-on-1 with 'nice guy' Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath. Mark's incredibly modest about his band experience, and tells Adam about how his mom raised him to be polite. Adam agrees they're both lucky to have grown up in the US, and they talk about their love of music growing up.

Bringing thing to a close, Adam talks about running with the wrong crowd in high school, and tells the story of how he got beat up with a baseball bat.

They talk a bit about a solider in Iraq who watched his child being born via webcam, and it leads Adam into a conversation about surgery procedures during birth. Before wrapping up, they play a clip from Deacon Jones, and laugh at how politically correct we are these days.

Adam also tells a story from his field trip with Sonny earlier today, and watching his son interact with other kids.



The final news stories involve a new energy drink that contains alcohol, and Jay-Z's new title as the 'CNN of the Ghetto'. It reminds Adam of his Loveline days, when he and Drew met a relatively unknown Destiny's Child, and had them come on the show the next week to perform. They also tease Jessica for having a hot mom, and Adam sings the Taboo II theme.

Adam suggests that for a while, cars kind of flat-lined in technology, but now things are moving much faster. Adam is just waiting for the time when podcasts can make it practically into cars. Scott describes some of the mobile app links that are already available, and says that items typically seen in Luxury vehicles will soon be seen in some of the compact Ford models. Lastly they discuss the casting call sent out for "Focus Rally America," an online interactive reality show.



Adam's final interview for the day is with comedian Mark Malkoff. Mark recently set the Guinness World Record for most flights in a single month. They talk about the fear of flying, and Adam takes time to complain about shitty airplane food. Mark also discusses forcing himself to stay in a bathroom for 5 days with no internet, and the time he spent living in an IKEA.

Adam sits down to talk with Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe. They talk about his voiceover work for Ford, and also chat about producing and making a television show. They then consider whether or not everyone should get a college education, and discuss the benefits of alternative education.



Adam wants to pick up where they left off when they had their last interview on the radio show. Adam asks Mike to dig way back to the beginnings of his personal journey. They discuss Mike's dad working as a public school teacher while his grandpa was a drop out who mastered several labor related trades instead. He also talks about riding a horse to school and the teacher who helped him overcome his stutter.

Mike also talks about speaking to congress to kick off the 'I Make America' campaign. The idea is that as our society progresses, we become more interested in how things are bought as opposed to how they are sold. Mike warns of the dangers of a country of people who do nothing, and also talks about his work speaking to the Future Farmers of America (FFA).



Wrapping up the podcast, Adam and Mike discuss the notion of redefining the term 'better' so that this next generation can feel they've accomplished more than the one before it.

Cousin Sal goes over the various rankings for the season, and Adam talks about Tom Brady 's past relationship to Bridget Moynahan, and also his current relationship with Bundchen. He then goes on a rant about celebrities who do nothing and still make millions.



Adam then jumps into a couple of stories; one involving a racing event with Jimmy Kimmel, and another about traveling with actor Fred Willard and his agent. As Simmons and Cousin Sal leave, Adam brings David Alan Grier to the couch. DAG jokes about the large crowd gathered at the recording, and talks to Adam about his friend's wife dating after their divorce. Josh Gardner is brought back to the couch to perform a couple more songs. They also take a couple listener calls for Mike who ask him about his recent film work, and a work situation Mike got involved in.
