Today’s episode is to honor my good friend Bob Proctor who passed away on February 4th 2022. He was an entrepreneur, best-selling author, lecturer, and one of the greatest minds in the personal development field. He was also a friend of mine. To honor his life and legacy, I wanted to bring together some of the best moments from my conversations with him. I had the opportunity to interview him 3 different times, and we were setting up our 4th interview just a few weeks ago. Bob was showing up every day to do the work he felt called to do up until the end, which is incredibly inspiring. I had previously asked him what he thought about death and if he was afraid of it. He shared that he wasn’t afraid of death and although you’ve left your physical being, your spiritual being is omnipresent. Bob’s memory will live on in his books, speeches, interviews and all the personal ways he transformed our lives.

In this episode Bob shares how he thought about building real wealth, how to find control in the middle of chaos, how to overcome self-doubt, how to thrive in your life, how to prime your imagination and so much more!

For today’s episode, I wanted to give you all a little “tough love.” We’re going to discuss the 7 hard truths about making your dreams come true. These truths come from the themes and patterns I’ve gathered from countless conversations with some of the world’s top athletes, bestselling authors, billionaires, investors, and more.

I’m calling them “hard truths” because over the years, I’ve found that not everyone is ready to hear these things. Some might be putting off a certain truth, or avoiding it altogether thinking there’s a way around it. I can’t speak for everyone in the world, but I’ve found that realizing and accepting these 7 is absolutely essential to achieving your dreams and reaching your full potential.

This week is a very special one. 9 years ago I took a bet on myself when I uploaded an interview with a man named Robert Greene for a new show I was starting called The School of Greatness. The last 9 years have been extremely transformational for me and none of it would’ve been possible without 1. Your guy’s support of the show and coming back to listen each week… and 2. Having the courage to believe in myself and start this in the first place. I took in some questions around the show from you guys over on social media that I think will help give more context to my journey and help you if you’re in the middle of a career change or thinking that it might be time to make a change in another area of your life.

In this episode we discuss why so many people are wanting to leave their jobs to go all in on their passion, how to develop the belief in yourself to pursue your dreams, how The School of Greatness has changed my life over the last 9 years and what went into building this show, what my big vision is now that we’re 9 years, and so much more!

She’s written a new book called Credible: Why We Doubt Accusers And Protect Abusers.

In this episode we discuss how to create a safe space for people to openly talk about their trauma and abuse,

what Deborah calls the credibility complex and how to work around it, what to do if you’re a victim who hasn’t shared your story yet, why abusers have traditionally been protected and what we need to change in our society, the immediate steps you should take after being abused and so much more.

It is my intention to help spread awareness to help those who have dealt with abuse, but there is a chance that this episode could be a trigger for some of you.

Today’s guest is Rachel Rodgers. She’s the founder of Hello Seven, a multi-million dollar company that teaches you how to earn more money and build wealth. As a business coach, attorney, CEO, Black woman, working mother, and self-made millionaire, she’s known for her blunt, sensible advice and for calling out the elephant in the room—whether it’s racism, misogyny, or centuries of unfair legal practices that have stripped financial power away from women. She’s written a new book called We Should All Be Millionaires where she teaches how to succeed financially in spite of the very real obstacles along the path. This is actually the second half of our conversation, so if you haven’t yet listened to that yet, make sure to go to www.lewishowes.com/1183

In this episode we discuss the difference between a rich and poor mindset, what it took for Rachel to go grow her business from 7 to 8 figures, how to double your income this year, and then I help Rachel unpack a dream she’s been putting off for over a year! If any of you have dreams you’re procrastinating on, I really think this section is going to speak to you.
